I wasn't surprised that Luffy gave the piggy bank back to Abi for the baby yagara, but it totally solidified how much he genuinely cares about the little guy and his pet, which just warms my heart. It's such a classic Luffy move, looking out for the weak, and it makes me respect him even more for being so considerate despite his usual recklessness.
