Garp is such a weird guy for just letting his grandson go because they are family and he really does whatever he wants even though he is a marine hero

I love that the navy is using sea prism stone to cross the calm belt and it explains so much about how they move around the world so easily

Garp is terrifying and hilarious at the same time and the way he treated his grandson makes you wonder how Luffy even survived his childhood

My heart was breaking for Robin when she talked to Aokiji but seeing her finally find some peace with her past was such a good way to end that arc

The mention of the New World at the end really gave me goosebumps, because it sounds way more dangerous than anything they have seen so far. It feels like the show is finally shifting into a higher gear with all these legends being mentioned and Koby coming back so strong was a nice touch, showing how fast time is moving

Hearing about Dr Vegapunk and how he makes things eat devil fruits was the most insane detail from this episode and it makes the world feel so much bigger

I still cant believe how much Koby grew up since the start of the show and his new dream to become an admiral is so cool even if he has to fight Luffy later

Holy cow, Koby is seriously buff now, it totally blew me away seeing him so different! I mean, for him to actually stand up to Luffy after all that time, it really shows how much Garp’s training not only changed his body but also gave him the guts to face his old hero head-on, which is pretty awesome.

I was genuinely surprised to see Koby so confident in his belief that he could change the Navy from the inside; it really makes me think back to that scrawny kid who was too scared to stand up for himself in Alvida's crew. His determination to chase that dream is just so inspiring now.

I'm honestly super hyped about this Dr. Vegapunk stuff and his research into devil fruits, like, it totally blew my mind thinking about how that could completely mess with the power system we know! I'm already wondering if it'll mean new ways to use abilities or even how they were created in the first place, it's such a huge reveal!

When Aokiji just popped up to check on Robin, my heart totally skipped a beat, like, what was he even thinking? I gotta say, he's always given me weird vibes, but this moment really solidified that he's not like those other hard-nosed Marines, and I'm honestly so curious about what his deal is.

I was genuinely floored when Koby actually pulled off those powerful moves against Luffy; it's wild to think he used to be that scared kid, and now he's fighting for his ideals with such conviction after Garp's training. My mind just keeps going back to him shaking in Alvida's presence, so seeing him stand firm against a Yonko-level pirate is just insane.

Wait, Koby wants to be an Admiral?! My jaw totally dropped when he said that, especially remembering how scared he was of Alvida back in the day, it just proves how much he's grown alongside Luffy. Hearing him talk about the New World like it's the final frontier for the Pirate King made me realize their adventures are seriously just getting started, and I'm so hyped for what's next!

Woah, finding out about the New World just blew my mind! I thought the Grand Line was the ultimate challenge, but now it feels like a warm-up, and I can't even imagine how much crazier their adventure is about to get.

I was so relieved when Aokiji actually talked to Robin without trying to freeze her, and man, his explanation for why he let her live this time really made me think he's got a much more complicated moral compass than I first gave him credit for. It's like he's always looking for a reason to believe in humanity, even after everything.

When Koby dropped that bomb about the Marines using sea stone to cross the Calm Belt, my jaw practically hit the floor! It just makes me realize how much of a threat they truly are, able to go anywhere, even places the Straw Hats struggled with.

How in the world does a sword eat a Devil Fruit, man? My jaw literally dropped when they said Vegapunk figured that out; I'm trying to imagine how that even works, like does it just absorb it or what? I can't believe even his genius stretches to something that wild, it makes me wonder what other crazy stuff he's invented.

I'm seriously blown away by Koby's transformation; I remember him as that scared kid, and now he's actually someone who could genuinely challenge Luffy, which is wild to think about. Their talk about the New World felt like such a huge moment, like it's setting up something big for both of them down the line, and I'm kinda nervous for how that's all gonna play out, especially for Luffy.

Koby being officially recognized as Luffy's rival was such a satisfying moment for me; it really brought back memories of their humble beginnings and how far they've both come. And then the New World got dropped on us – my mind immediately went to how insane the stakes just got for the Grand Line, leaving me super excited to see what kind of wild showdown their paths will cross in next!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off major revelations about Luffy's family lineage, this episode shifts gears into a character-focused interlude that deepens individual backstories and relationships. It functions as a transitional piece between major arcs, grounding the crew's motivations and planting seeds — particularly through Robin's subplot and Coby's reappearance — that will pay off as the Straw Hats move toward the challenges of the New World. The calm here is intentional setup, not stalling.
