Seguimos con la segunda parte del relleno. No me gustaron para nada ninguno de los dos.

Buggy trying to rig a rice cake contest felt so perfectly him, it totally pulled me out of my serious thoughts and made me laugh, despite all the intense stuff they's been through lately. Seeing the Straw Hats finally get a little break, even if it's just for a goofy festival in that cool Japanese setting, was actually super refreshing after everything.

I was totally geared up for Chopper's big moment, feeling all the tension build, and then suddenly we're doing a goofy holiday filler? It totally ripped me out of the intense battle, making me wonder if someone hit the wrong button on the episode lineup.

Boss Luffy had me absolutely cackling, I just love when they throw in these silly little detours that showcase his goofy side. Seeing so many familiar faces from different arcs chilling together made me realize how truly massive and interconnected the One Piece world is, and it got me thinking about how cool it would be to see more casual crossovers like that in the main story.

Okay, I know this was totally a filler, but seeing Vivi and Mr. 3 again actually made me smile and miss the whole Alabasta adventure so much! It felt kinda wild to drop into Boss Luffy's gang and this rice cake race when things are so nuts in Enies Lobby, but I gotta admit, that goofy race was exactly the kind of unexpected fun that only One Piece can pull off, making me laugh instead of hitting skip.

My jaw just about hit the floor when that rice cake competition popped up right in the middle of Enies Lobby – I was so ready for the next big fight, and then *this*? Seriously, I couldn't believe they'd pull us away from all the real action for something so random and goofy, it totally zapped my hype.

Whoa, that rice cake tossing race was absolutely wild, and I swear my jaw dropped seeing so many obscure characters pop up out of nowhere. It just made me wonder if they're always hiding in the background of these special episodes, waiting for their moment to shine again.

Those shogun era visuals popping up out of the blue seriously caught me off guard in this episode, and it just clicked for me how much of a mad genius Oda is. I'm left wondering if he had the entire Wano saga brewing in his mind even way back then, that's just wild foresight!

I almost rolled my eyes when Buggy started his usual shenanigans during the rice cake race; it's classic him to try and cheat, but it still makes me chuckle how he always ends up entangled in Luffy's chaotic energy. Honestly, I wonder if he even realizes how often he just becomes part of the crew's weirdness, despite his best efforts to be the villain.

Okay, I was genuinely surprised to see Vivi hanging out with the Skypiea gang in this weird alternate universe special. It was such a fun and unexpected reunion, and honestly, just seeing everyone together chilling out felt like a breath of fresh air from all the usual high-stakes adventures.

I just couldn't believe they threw in a holiday special right in the middle of Chopper's intense battle; it totally messed with the flow and I was honestly pretty annoyed, like, give my guy his moment!

I was cracking up when Buggy popped up as Red Nose in that alternate reality, it's so typical of him to somehow worm his way into being the 'villain' even in a weird dream world. Honestly, I totally saw it coming but it still made me laugh to see him trying to be all menacing again.

I was so confused seeing everyone as samurais and magistrates, especially with Chopper going through such a tough fight. It felt really strange to suddenly jump into such a different vibe when things were so serious for him, almost like a whiplash for me.

I gotta say, I was completely caught off guard by Panda Man's appearance, and his whole interaction with Buggy just had me laughing out loud. It's such a classic One Piece move to throw in something so random yet totally hilarious; honestly, I can never get enough of Buggy's reactions to chaos.

Sanji's utterly ridiculous attempts in that mochi-tossing race had me howling, even though I usually skip these Boss Luffy bits without a second thought. I loved seeing how everyone, even the usually serious characters, got completely swept up in the dumb, chaotic fun, which is exactly the kind of energy I crave from One Piece sometimes.

Buggy's whole rice cake scheme had me laughing out loud at first, like, only he could pull something so ridiculous off. But then I started wondering if this really needed to happen right now, kinda felt out of place when the crew's got so much bigger stuff going on, didn't it?

Vivi in that kimono, are you kidding me?! I totally lost it when I saw her and the old crew looking so snazzy, and honestly, even that insane rice cake fight had me laughing out loud because it just felt so right to see them all together, messing around like old times.

Okay, so I totally laughed out loud at Buggy getting all flustered thinking Panda Man was a dad, it was just classic One Piece absurdity. Honestly, even though these Boss Luffy fillers smack dab in the middle of Enies Lobby are a bit annoying, it was a genuinely pleasant surprise to see Vivi again, and I can't help but wonder if this samurai chaos was Oda just messing around with ideas that would later become Wano.

I totally cracked up when Zoro won the mochi just to immediately toss it away. Like, of course he would do that, it's so in character for him to be that nonchalant about something he just put effort into winning, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

That Jipangu rice cake race was such an unexpected moment, and while it had its goofy charm, I was definitely scratching my head wondering why we took such a random detour right when things felt like they were heating up. My impatient side just wanted to zoom back to the crew and whatever wild situation they'd inevitably stumbled into next.

EPISODE CONTEXT

This is the second of two consecutive Boss Luffy Historical Special filler episodes, following Episode 291's Grand Jipangu adventure. It sits squarely in the middle of the Enies Lobby arc, and skipping it costs nothing — Episode 293 picks the main story back up with Nami's high-stakes battle against Kalifa. Treat this as an optional breather before the action resumes.
