the way they went back to luffy meeting shanks was a nice break because it reminded me why this crew follows him to the ends of the earth and the chibi theater at the end was actually the best part since those tiny straw hats were hilarious and i think the recap helps the stakes feel higher now

Still, man, pulling that powerful flashback right in the middle of Nami absolutely going wild trying to save Robin at Enies Lobby had me practically screaming for them to cut back to the present!

Ugh, I totally get why the show needs to let the manga get ahead sometimes, but right after Robin's massive emotional moment? It just feels so agonizing to be stuck waiting for that tower to burn, like they're purposefully drawing out the tension on me.

My stomach was in knots just waiting for them to finally get to Robin, but then that whole Chopperman bit popped up and totally caught me off guard! It was such a silly, fun distraction, almost like Chopper himself knew we needed a little break before the serious stuff kicks in, even if I'm still on the edge of my seat for the actual rescue.
