Capitulo del pasado de Franky y de Iceberg, es bueno ver sus inicios y como era la relación de ellos tres juntos.

Tom telling Franky to be proud of his ships even if they cause destruction really hit hard especially after seeing all those battleships Franky built in the junkyard

I loved seeing young Paulie in the crowd watching the sea train launch and it makes the whole history of Water 7 feel so much more connected

tom taking in a kid like cutty flam after his parents dumped him on the trash heap made me lose it because he actually saw worth in a brat building weapons from junk

The way Tom stands by his work even when the government comes for him makes him such an easy character to respect

Those scenes where young Iceberg and Cutty Flam bicker over the battle ships while Tom laughs are just so wholesome

Building a train on top of the ocean sounds like such a crazy idea and seeing it actually work was a really cool moment

I didn't expect to care this much about a giant fish man, but Tom is the best father figure Franky could have asked for.

The contrast between Franky's energetic backstory and the depressing stuff with Usopp in the last episode is such a trip

Learning that Franky was originally named Cutty Flam really blew my mind because it makes his whole history feel so much deeper

Watching the Sea Train finally move across the water was such a huge relief after all those years of hard work. Tom is a legend for building the Pirate King's ship and he always teaches the boys to be proud of their creations. It makes the ending feel so hopeful even though that snake Spandam is lurking around.

Spandam is already showing what a complete loser he is and his attitude during the arrest made me so angry

You can really see how much Tom loves those two boys and his workshop is such a cool place to grow up

I actually felt so bad for Cutty Flam when those pirate parents just tossed him out and left him alone on that scrap heap

Iceberg and Franky used to be so close and it is painful to watch them as kids knowing how much they hate each other in the present timeline

Water 7 was falling apart before the sea train and seeing the hope return to the people made the ending of the flashback even harder to swallow

Tom standing up for his work even after being told it was a crime is so powerful and it proves he was way more than just a builder

I honestly didn't think I would care this much about Franky but his past is so heavy and seeing Tom take him in was so sweet, and then Spandam shows up to ruin everything just because he wants those blueprints. It makes me understand why Franky acts out and why he carries so much guilt about his own inventions being used for evil

That flashback with the Oro Jackson blueprints explains so much about why everyone is after Franky and it makes you realize how high the stakes really are

You can really see why Franky changed so much after what happened to Tom and his ships because that level of betrayal from the government would break anyone

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the heated CP9 revelations that turned Water 7 upside down, episode 248 deliberately downshifts into Franky's backstory, giving viewers the context needed to understand his motivations and his connection to Tom and the Sea Train. This flashback arc is critical groundwork—it reframes the political machinations of the current conflict and raises the emotional stakes before the story accelerates toward its next major confrontation. Everything established here directly feeds into the dramatic payoffs that define the latter half of the Water 7 saga.
