​And omg, poor Usopp getting absolutely jumped and beaten to a pulp by the Franky Family for the 200 million berries... the disrespect was insane. It’s so frustrating to watch but you literally cannot look away.
​Water 7 vibes are always top tier, but the sheer angst in this episode is off the charts. It perfectly sets up the tragic rift between Luffy and Usopp. Peak storytelling right here, but I definitely need a tissue box nearby every single time fr fr 🌊⛵️✨

I actually feel sick after seeing Usopp get jumped, and then hearing that the Merry is basically a goner because that ship has been through everything with them. Luffy looked so devastated when Kaku told him it was impossible to fix, and it makes me wonder what the crew even does if they have to leave their home behind like that.

I can't believe they did Usopp like that and seeing him all beat up and bloody while they took the money was hard to watch

Kaku jumping off that cliff looked amazing but the news about the Going Merry keel being broken basically ruins the whole vibe of the trip

Iceberg acting all weird about Robin makes the whole situation feel like a massive setup and Water 7 is way more dangerous than it looks

Seeing Usopp get jumped by the Franky Family was brutal and he was just trying so hard to protect the money for the ship

Watching the crew realize their home is basically dying while Usopp gets beaten up is easily the lowest point for the Straw Hats so far

The mystery with Robin is starting to get really weird, especially with her poster being in that hideout and Sanji getting worried about her staying missing

I can't get over how brutal the Franky Family was to Usopp because he was already feeling so guilty about the money and then they just trashed him in the street and the way he kept trying to crawl back to get the 200 million berries was so hard to watch and you can tell he's completely broken over the ship news too

Luffy looks so stressed out having to choose between the ship and the crew and Iceburg was being pretty harsh but he was right about the captain responsibility stuff

I never thought a boat could make me this sad but hearing that the Merry can never sail again actually hurt

Usopp screaming for the money back while he could barely stand up was the most heart wrenching thing, he really cares about that ship more than anything else

Robin just vanishing while Sanji and Chopper search for her is super sketchy and that government guy talking to Iceburg makes it feel like something big is happening behind the scenes

Seeing Luffy try to argue with the shipwrights while he was in total denial about the ship made the realization about the keel way worse

I feel so bad for Usopp getting jumped like that and he was just trying to fix the ship for everyone and now he is just lying there in the rain

Losing the Merry is actually gutting and hearing Iceburg say the keel is snapped feels like a death sentence for a friend

That mask guy meeting Robin in the street was creepy and it feels like everything is falling apart for the crew all at once

The Franky Family is so annoying for stealing that gold, and the crew needs to find them and get revenge for what they did to Usopp

Kaku running across the rooftops looked so cool and it made the whole city of Water 7 feel huge and full of secrets
