Se termina el arco de relleno del ladrón de los recuerdos, recuperan lo perdido , aunque no la recompensa que esperaban.

The ending where the villagers started chasing the crew away after they saved the whole island made me laugh because that is just the luck the straw hats always have

Robin being the only one who did not lose her memories really makes you wonder about her past because that seahorse clearly could not handle her thoughts

Zoro fighting Luffy is always something you want to see but it felt wrong since he was being controlled and the animation looked a little rough during that part

Watching Zoro try to cut down his own captain while under that seahorse spell was scary and Sanji trying to stop him made the whole memory loss thing feel way more dangerous

Getting to see Shanks and Ace show up even if they were just fake memories really hit me way harder than it should have for a filler episode

I was so relieved when the Straw Hats finally started recognizing each other again after that whole memory-wiping seahorse mess; it felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, and it just reminded me how much their bond means to them.

I was really worried when the seahorse took control of Zoro, but Luffy punching it and getting everyone their memories back was the perfect payback for that seahorse.

It was cool seeing Arlong and Crocodile again even if they were just illusions, because it reminds you how far the crew has actually come since the beginning.

Luffy literally squeezing the memories back out of that seahorse was the funniest way to end this and he just does whatever he wants

I thought most of this arc was kind of boring but seeing how the crew acts without their history together shows how much they have actually grown since the start

The pacing felt a bit slow for a filler arc, but seeing Zoro and Luffy clash was definitely the highlight of the episode

Chopper crying because he forgot his friends was the saddest thing ever and it was good to see them finally get their memories back from that weird sea creature

This filler went on way too long and that sea horse guy was a weak villain even if the Luffy versus Zoro fight was okay for a second

It felt so good when everyone finally remembered each other and realized they were a family again because seeing them forget was too depressing for me

Robin basically saved the day here and it makes sense since she was the only one who remembered their bond and she really is the smartest one on the ship
viral_187's avatar

I think it was actually really smart how Robin was the only one who kept her memories because it makes her feel even more like the glue of the crew. Seeing Chopper go back to being a scared little reindeer broke my heart, but watching Luffy restore everyone by just being himself made the whole filler arc worth it in the end

That sea horse thief was so annoying and the way Luffy finally punched him was the best part after all that memory stealing nonsense

Nami acting so scared again served as a reminder of why Arlong was so terrible and it was actually pretty sad for a filler episode

Watching Zoro get hypnotized like that was so frustrating and Luffy had to actually fight his own swordsman because that sea horse was such a coward

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode wraps up the filler Ocean's Dream Arc, resolving the memory-theft conflict that has driven the last several episodes, including the intense confrontations set up in Episode 223. As a filler conclusion, it stands apart from the manga canon but provides a clean transition point — Episode 225 pivots into the Foxy Pirates storyline with Silver Fox Foxy, marking a tonal shift into a new arc.
