I know everyone says this arc is skip material, but Afro Luffy is definitely the highlight for me because it shows how weird and fun this world can be. The way Luffy genuinely believes the hair gives him power is so stupid, but his determination to get his friends back makes the whole silly boxing match feel like it actually matters
