I cannot believe Luffy chose the horse over Chopper and it actually made me yell at the screen because my reindeer doctor is just sitting there crying with the enemy crew

Zoro and Sanji actually stopping the petty fights to wreck those monsters together was so cool because they are basically unbeatable when they use their actual brains

The unfair calls and the weapons were completely ridiculous and the way the ref kept giving red cards to the Straw Hats was infuriating

The animation looked so much cleaner during the Groggy Ring match and Zoro launching off Sanji's leg was the coolest thing they have done in a while

Luffy picking the horse instead of Chopper was such a weird move and the pacing of that whole decision felt way too slow for no reason

I honestly thought the Davy Back stuff was going to be a total waste of time, but seeing Zoro and Sanji actually work together for once was wild. The way they used their rivalry to hit those insane combos was impressive and it actually looked really clear too. I just wish the referee would stop letting everyone cheat so much though because it makes the game feel cheap

Sanji kicking Zoro through the air to get that winning point felt great because it meant the cheating finally failed

Those disgusting combos between Sanji and Zoro were the only thing that made this long match worth it

My brain was hurting when Luffy chose the horse instead of getting Chopper back immediately, but it makes sense because he just wanted the poor thing to be happy

The referee is actually making it impossible to watch without getting annoyed because he just lets the Foxy crew use weapons and ignores every single foul

I think I lost my mind when Zoro actually stood on Sanji's foot and launched himself to finish the game and they finally stopped arguing for two seconds to win

Reading about this arc being filler makes sense now because Luffy picking a horse over his friend was just a bad call

The cheating from the Foxy Pirates was out of control, but it made that final goal from the duo feel even better

I was laughing so hard when Zoro and Sanji actually started working together because their bickering usually takes forever, and the way they just dominated the Groggy Monsters was amazing and I am still kind of mad at Luffy for choosing Tonjit's horse instead of getting Chopper back right away though and it felt really mean to poor Chopper

It was hard to watch Luffy choose the horse Shelly and leave Chopper behind because that whole decision made zero sense

You can tell Sanji and Zoro are the best duo when they stop fighting and just start kicking everyone into the goal

The new animation style is so clear and I loved seeing Sanji and Zoro destroy those cheaters with actual teamwork

This whole arc feels like a waste of time and it made me so annoyed when Luffy chose a horse instead of taking back his own crewmate

That referee was so annoying for giving Sanji a card for absolutely nothing while the other team was cheating the whole time

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode wraps up the Groggy Ring match that kicked off in Episode 211, resolving the second round of the Davy Back Fight arc. Sanji and Zoro's forced partnership reaches its payoff here after the previous episode established the rules and opponents. With the Groggy Ring behind them, Episode 213 pivots to the third and next round — the Roller Race — keeping the arc's momentum rolling through its competitive gauntlet structure.
