La presentación de Loki con esa música fue épica. No hizo falta mucha acción: el capítulo logró que Elbaf se sintiera enorme y me dejó con muchísima ansiedad por lo que puede llegar a ser este arco.

Another peak cinematic visuals and animation this episode! Finally, after the mini-arc preluding this, welcome to Elbaph! Another character was introduced and his aura was like Doflamingo. The tone was mysterious and interesting. The pacing was a bit slowed, but it was still amazing!

Loki’s introduction was so badass, and the way he was described made him feel incredibly powerful. Things are getting more interesting—let’s gooo!

This was such a good episode. Nothing much happened until the very end, as it was mostly dialogue-driven with Loki’s introduction. What made it even more intriguing was what Robin noticed, honestly.

Finally out of “Legoland.” We also get to see how the news reports the aftermath of Egghead, and mystery about the X symbol, ironically, all the crew members who knows about it were separated. Not much happens besides Luffy meeting Loki, but the soundtrack is great.

The way the music shifted when Loki finally appeared on screen gave me chills, and that wide grin with the long tongue makes him look so much more unhinged than I expected

Elbaph looks absolutely massive and the trees being so big they look like stone walls really sold the scale

Usopp totally losing it while trying to cross that crazy bridge made me laugh out loud, but honestly, I think I'd be just as terrified dangling over nothing like that. It’s exactly what I expect from him, always panicking in the most intense situations!

I was grinning when Luffy told that chained prince he is the man who will be king of the pirates

The idea of the Sun God ending the world was such a jarring claim for me, given how joyful and freeing Nika's actual power appears. It makes me wonder if there's a huge misunderstanding in that prophecy, or if Luffy's really destined for something far more complex than just smiles and liberation.

Those 1.8 billion berry bounties for Dorry and Brogy are huge and they really deserve that after helping at Egghead

Luffy, I swear he's got a sixth sense for trouble, just launching himself off that huge bridge because he felt a strong presence. My jaw practically dropped watching him dive in, it's so him to just go for it when he smells a good fight coming.

Usopp being terrified on the bridge while Nami froze her butt off felt like the old days of adventure. The landscape of the snowfield looks beautiful and Elbaph finally feels real after all these years

The news about Dorry and Brogy getting 1.8 billion berry bounties is insane. It was cool seeing them celebrate while Lilith was getting all upset about the world government lying about Vegapunk

The scale of Elbaph is honestly terrifying and seeing the Straw Hats look like actual ants on that bridge really hammers it home. I really liked the lore drop about Loki being the shame of the giants and murdering his father for power, because it makes him feel like a real threat right from the start. Luffy just diving into the woods to meet him, it was great

Luffy just sensing that power and leaping off the bridge into the abyss is so typical for him. Seeing him face to face with a giant prince who is literally chained to the mountainside was a crazy reveal

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the Block Kingdom escape in Episode 1159, the crew's arrival in Elbaph marks a significant narrative shift into one of One Piece's most long-teased locations. This episode functions as a formal introduction to Elbaph's world and its key players, with Loki's appearance signaling that deeper conflicts are already in motion. What unfolds here lays essential groundwork for the mysteries and confrontations the Elbaph arc will build toward.
