Seeing Koby's improvement felt like I was watching Luffy all over again. We've seen Koby since ep1 and seeing him again with so much development made me proud!

The ending of this ep was unexpected that it left me hanging and wondering what will happen next, though.

I couldn't stop crying when Garp told the kids they were the future and then just stood there smiling while Kuzan froze his entire body into a block of ice

Koby's punch just obliterating that massive stone hand had me actually yelling at my screen, what an insane display of power! The black lightning crackling around his fist against the dark sky honestly made me wonder if he's finally tapping into something akin to Conqueror's Haki; I'm so hyped to see what he does next after that.

The training flashbacks really made the ending feel heavy because seeing Koby punch those battleships until his hands bled put so much weight behind his big move, and I actually screamed when he used his new impact to save the ship and then Garp staying behind to get frozen by Kuzan just broke my heart into pieces

Pizarro screaming as his mountain hand crumbled into tiny pieces was such a satisfying moment for Koby after all those years of him feeling like he was a talentless failure

Those shots of the battleship bags with the huge dents from Garp and Kuzan and then seeing Koby do the same thing in the dark was such a powerful way to show how hard he worked

I was absolutely gut-punched seeing those young marines cheering for Koby, completely unaware that Shiryu was just straight up impaling Garp in the background. My heart just broke at the sheer cruelty of that contrast, and Garp's final frozen smile left me wondering if he was accepting his end, or even finding some strange satisfaction in protecting his protégé.

My eyes were glued to the screen when Garp smashed the skull with Galaxy Divide because the scale of the destruction made every pirate on that island look like an ant

All those battleship bag punches sounded incredible and it really made that final Honesty Impact feel like it had so much weight behind it and Koby's strength is unreal

Koby crying on the ship while Garp gets left behind on Hachinosu is such a heavy way to end this arc and the news report at the end makes it feel so final

Sengoku and Tsuru's news report at the end gave me a serious jolt; I hadn't quite grasped how monumental this shift would be until that moment. And when Pizarro's mountain hand shattered, my grin stretched ear to ear – it was such a fitting end to that nuisance.

Koby finally did it and that honesty impact was so powerful. He really is the future of the navy because he actually destroyed that giant stone hand all by himself. Garp would be so proud of him

The contrast between Garp training Kuzan and then training Koby on those same battleship bags makes the final confrontation on the island feel so much more personal, and you can really see how much Kuzan is struggling with his decision while Garp just accepts it with a laugh because he knows the future of the Navy is finally in good hands now

Garp choosing the baby over the old man in that lesson really came full circle when he sacrificed himself for the new generation, and his smile at the end was such a legendary move

Kuzan looked so conflicted when he was freezing his old teacher and you can tell he did not want to be the one to end this fight

The way Garp was laughing even while he was getting frozen by Kuzan is the most legendary way to go out and he really saved the future of the navy today

Helmeppo taking those hits and shielding Koby so he could reach the giant arm was so great to see, and it shows how much they have both grown since the beginning

I was really surprised by how emotional the battleship bag flashback made me feel. Seeing a young Kuzan and then Koby putting in all that work on those ships, just to hear that heavy thud, was a great way to show they earned their power. Koby shattering that massive hand was the perfect way to finish Garp's lesson.

My heart actually sank when Garp told them to leave him behind and then he just smiled while being frozen by Kuzan and that Honesty Impact from Koby was so earned after those bloody knuckles

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off the brutal Garp versus Kuzan confrontation, this episode pivots to the fallout and what it means for the next generation of Marines caught in the crossfire. It's a crucial character-development chapter that crystallizes the evolving power dynamics and loyalties within the Marine hierarchy. The groundwork laid here carries significant narrative weight for the events ahead, making it essential viewing rather than a transitional breather.
