stands out for its intense atmosphere. The sense of danger becomes almost overwhelming, making it one of the more gripping entries in this range. The storytelling is sharp and focused, ensuring that the tension never drops. It’s a high-stakes episode from beginning to end.

Finally! In this episode, we saw what happened to Mariejois as Sabo told Ivan and Dragon his time there and the truth behind Cobra's death.

It's a slow-paced episode but very important one as they build on the explanation on what happened.

It was so satisfying to see Koala beat up Sabo after he finally showed up, but the mood changed fast once they started talking about what really happened to King Cobra at the castle

I was so happy to see the revolutionary commanders actually putting in work at the holy land and Morley saving Kuma was such a big win for them. Watching Fujitora pick a fight with Ryokugyu just to help the slaves escape made me respect him even more because he actually follows his own path regardless of what the navy says

I can still see that huge crater in my head where Lulusia used to be and it makes the Five Elders feel way more dangerous than before

That moment the CP9 agents showed up as CP0 members caught everyone off guard and they look way more threatening in those white suits than they did in the old days

The animation for Karasu and Morley fighting the government agents looked so good and it is about time we finally saw what the top revolutionaries can actually do in a real fight

I needed that scene where Koala was karate chopping Sabo because the news about the God Knights starting to move was way too stressful

Seeing those eight nations rebel and raise the Flame Emperor flag after the Sabo news broke was huge because it shows how much people hate the celestial dragons and their garbage system

The way the Lulusia kingdom just vanished from the map is terrifying and seeing the giant crater in the ocean where an entire country used to be really shows how scary the elders are

Those pillars of light coming down from the sky and erasing Lulusia in seconds was pure nightmare fuel and it makes you wonder what kind of weapon they actually have up there

Fujitora actually helping the slaves escape while Ryokugyu was screaming at him really shows how much of a legend the blind admiral is

King Cobra wheeling himself into that room alone to face all five elders was such a powerful move and you can tell he knew he probably wasnt coming out of there alive

I felt so much tension when King Cobra asked about the name D and Queen Lily because those elders looked like they wanted to kill him right then and there for knowing too much

Sabo finally making it back to the base and telling the truth about Cobra was huge because everyone thought he actually did it and the government just lied to everyone again

I still cant believe how Fujitora just let the slaves go and even fought Ryokugyu for it because that man really has the best moral compass in the entire navy and I love him for it

The tension when Cobra started asking about Queen Lily and the name D was insane. He knew he was basically signing his death warrant by talking to the Five Elders like that but he did it anyway for the sake of history. Seeing the commanders fight the admirals was cool too and Karasu has such a unique power with the crows.

Karasu looks so cool with those murder crows and seeing the commanders actually hold their own against admirals really surprised me

Those Holy Knight silhouettes were kind of a letdown compared to the manga art because the animation just felt a bit too stiff for me

Sabo being called the Flame Emperor is such a weird feeling because he hates the fame but it started a whole revolution

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1117 pivots away from Buggy's bombshell declaration in Episode 1116, shifting focus squarely onto the Revolutionary Army and the political fallout rippling across the world. It serves as a critical bridge episode, grounding viewers in the strategic realities behind the scenes before Episode 1118 escalates the turmoil within Holy Land Mary Geoise. This is essential connective tissue — the kind of lore-dense installment that recontextualizes everything happening across multiple fronts.
