The aftermath of the Levely shocks the world. The political tension rises as secrets about the World Government begin to surface, setting a darker tone for the arc.

Mihawk having a higher bounty than Luffy is such a statement and seeing him finally join up with Crocodile to hunt marines is the best twist for the global power balance ever

Poor Chopper getting a one thousand berry bounty while everyone else is in the millions is the funniest long running gag in this show and I hope he never gets a real bounty ever again

Imu literally just deleted an entire island from the map with a pen stroke and that scale of power is terrifying for the future of the revolution since we have never seen anything like those light beams

Buggy failing his way into becoming a Yonko and getting beaten by Mihawk and Crocodile is exactly what I needed to see after Wano concludes and his face was so swollen it was hilarious

Nami caging Luffy for jumping off a waterfall is the kind of crew dynamic that keeps me watching this show, and it was so funny seeing Jimbei try to handle their chaotic energy for the first time

Buggy remembering his old dream of being pirate king during that speech actually made me feel for him because he usually just feels like a joke but that moment felt totally real for his character

Lulusia getting vaporized by those beams of light was a total nightmare and the way the elders just pretended the island never existed is so cold and shows how much power they really have
clavell's avatar

Nami beating up Luffy and Jinbe wondering if she has conqueror haki was pure gold and those bounty reactions on the ship are always the best part of finishing a big island arc

The way the Five Elders just casually said that Lulusia never even existed while the island was being vaporized really shows how scary the World Government actually is

It is actually funny how Buggy ended up in this position because his marketing team is just that dedicated to him, and Mihawk and Crocodile look like they want to murder him every single second he is talking, and it was hilarious when they realized he accidentally started a war for the One Piece while they just wanted to hide out

I felt so bad for Buggy when he was crying about how he gave up on his dreams and then he just decides to go for it and screams about taking the One Piece

I honestly love how Buggy just keeps failing his way to the top and now he is officially a Yonko but he is also basically a prisoner to Mihawk and Crocodile at the same time and then he goes and gives that massive speech about the One Piece and forces them into a war they did not even want to be part of

Buggy actually becoming an Emperor because his subordinates are ridiculously good at graphic design genuinely made my jaw drop, I swear only in One Piece could something so hilariously absurd happen. It just solidifies my belief that he's the luckiest pirate alive, constantly failing upwards thanks to situations completely out of his control.

My heart dropped when Sabo was trying to talk about the empty throne and then the sky just turned into a giant beam of light that wiped everything out in a second

The Five Elders erasing a whole kingdom and then telling everyone it never even existed was the coldest thing ever and it really shows how scary the World Government is

Mihawk and Crocodile deciding to let Buggy take all the heat as the figurehead is such a smart move, even if they had to beat him into a pulp first to get there

The sudden switch from the Cross Guild's usual antics to Sabo witnessing a whole kingdom just getting wiped off the map gave me whiplash, seriously. It just makes me question how many other dark secrets the World Government is hiding if they can just erase entire places like that without a trace.

Luffy finally telling his crew his real dream was such a moment, and I couldn't help but wonder what wild thing he actually said to get those kinds of reactions. Seeing everyone from shocked Nami to laughing Zoro just made me grin, like, what could it possibly be that got them all so worked up in their own ways?

The transition from Buggy being a joke to the total horror of Lulusia being vaporized by those beams of light was a lot to take in and it changed the mood so fast

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode directly follows the Straw Hats' emotional farewell to Wano, pivoting from closure to expansion as the crew sails toward new waters and the series zooms out to reveal how the world has changed in their wake. The introduction of the Cross Guild and Buggy's elevation to Emperor status represent major shifts in the global power balance, seeding conflicts and alliances that will define the chapters ahead. It serves as a transitional episode that bridges the completed Wano saga with the next phase of the story.
