Omyyy I love this episode so much! It's one of my favorite. The fight between Zoro and King was super intense and visually insane from start to finish. I loved seeing Zoro push past his limits and finally understand Enma while using Conqueror’s Haki in battle.

As King faces his greatest foe, Roronoa Zoro, he unleashes all of his attacks in flashy style. Zoro always surpasses his previous battle, and ultimately masters his newly unlocked Supreme King Haki

zoro calling himself the king of hell was so cool and that green haki lightning looked so sharp on those blades

the animation during that last dragon clash was unreal, and seeing the way zoro just sliced through the magma felt so much bigger than the manga version.

i think king having such a sad past in that lab made his loss feel way different and seeing his actual face was a shock

The way the screen was flashing green and red during those last ten minutes was intense and Zoro definitely deserves the title of King of Hell after that performance

I have been waiting for this fight to get animated forever and it actually surpassed all of my expectations because the way Zoro used his Conquerors Haki to tame Enma looked so much better than the manga version and that final scene where King is falling through the clouds while remembering Kaido really hit me in the feelings tonight

You can really tell the staff put everything they had into this one because the choreography during the mid-air sword clashes was better than most movies

The parallel between Zoros promise to Kuina and Kings loyalty to Kaido was handled perfectly, and it really made the final clash feel like a battle of two different worlds

I still have chills from seeing that green and black lightning wrapping around Zoro's swords and he really accepted being the king of hell just to help Luffy become the pirate king

King looking like an absolute god once his mask broke was not on my radar and then Zoro just decides to become the King of Hell to take him down

King's fall, with his thoughts on Kaido, really got to me; I didn't expect to feel so much for someone who seemed like such a stoic, masked enforcer. It made me wonder what his life was like before Kaido, and how deep that loyalty truly ran.

Sanji sending Queen through those walls was such a clean way to start the episode and then it just kept getting crazier once Zoro put the bandana on

Blue fire everywhere when Sanji finished off Queen was a great way to start the episode, but the focus shifting to Zoro mastering Enma really stole the show

I was staring at my phone when Sanji sent Queen flying through the walls with that blue fire kick and honestly it was the best way to open the episode before the Zoro madness

King actually having white hair and a tattoo under that mask was a shock and seeing him getting tortured in that lab made me feel so bad for him even if he is the enemy

I am actually shaking after that Zoro finish, because the animation was literally moving too fast for my brain to keep up and seeing King's face for the first time was insane. He is actually so cool looking, and the parallel between him following Kaido and Zoro following Luffy just made every single strike feel so much more personal than a normal fight

Zoro slicing through that massive magma dragon was the coolest thing he has ever done and the way the animation just went completely off the rails for that final strike looked surreal

Animators for this fight really went all out, and the way the sky literally split when they clashed was better than any movie I have seen lately

The visual of King turning his pteranodon face into a literal slingshot is the funniest thing this show has done in years and then it immediately turned back into the most intense fight ever

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off the heels of Sanji's climactic battle against Queen in Episode 1061, the narrative pivots to the other wing of the Pirate King — Zoro's fight against King marks another critical domino falling in the Straw Hats' siege of Onigashima during the Wano arc. This episode represents a key turning point in dismantling Kaido's top commanders, building momentum toward the final confrontations that will decide Wano's fate. The resolution here carries direct weight for the battles still ahead.
