Jinbe completely destroyed Who is Who and those Fishman Karate strikes looked like they carried so much weight. It was great to see him shut that guy up after his constant trash talking

Zoro screaming like that as Miyagi jabbed him with that massive needle, man, I genuinely felt that pain right along with him. It makes me wonder if this recovery drug is just gonna put him out of commission for good, especially after everything he's already been through.

I was actually worried for a second there but of course the first thing Luffy does when he wakes up is scream for meat. My captain is back and his energy is visible in his eyes

Yamato looks so cool in that wolf form and the way the ice and flames look on the rooftop are high quality. Watching her stand up to her dad like that was powerful

This episode really captured the weirdness of the Ancient Zoans because seeing Sasaki fly around like a helicopter was a funny sight. Franky taking him down with the Radical Beam after such a goofy fight was satisfying to watch, and even though the pacing felt a bit slow at times, the action looked great

Sasaki really out here flying by spinning his neck like a fan blade and he says that is just how triceratops worked in the past. This show is so ridiculous and it was funny to watch Franky react to that

Luffy waking up and immediately screaming for meat while the Heart Pirates are crying is such a classic moment

Yamato's mythical wolf form totally stunned me; that blue and white fur looked so elegant and honestly, I was captivated by how her ice abilities created such a wild, beautiful contrast against all the fire and explosions raging on that rooftop. It really felt like she was trying to cool down the chaos herself.

Jinbe shutting up Whos Who and his racist comments with that final punch felt so good after listening to him talk about the Sun God legend for so many episodes

The recap at the start was way too long again but at least the payoff with Yamato revealing her hybrid form was worth the wait because she looks incredible

Watching Yamato transform into that wolf form was a highlight and the white fur looks so good with the ice powers

The visuals during that blade clash between Franky and Sasaki were so sharp but it really felt like his fight got way less time than the others which is a bit of a bummer

Luffy woke up and immediately yelled for meat while the Heart Pirates were crying and that is the most Luffy thing to ever happen after almost drowning in the ocean

Sasaki really tried to say that triceratops could fly in ancient times and Franky just looked so confused the humor in the middle of this war is honestly the best part of the whole show

Sasaki flying like a helicopter because he is a triceratops is the exact kind of logic that makes this series fun. The animation during the Radical Beam was decent, but it was really the ridiculousness of the ancient zoan forms that stood out here. Seeing Franky stand his ground against a literal flying dinosaur was a great way to show off the General Franky gear.

Jinbe's whole body glowed with that intense blue aura right before he absolutely demolished Who's-Who's teeth, and I just cheered! Man, it's such a relief to finally see him unleash his full Fishman Karate power on someone who totally deserves it, reminding me why he's the Knight of the Sea.

Yamato finally transforming into that epic wolf form, backlit by the moon, felt so much cooler than I even imagined, truly a spectacle! It still blows my mind how Kaido could be such a monster to his own kid, making me doubt if there's any redeeming quality in him whatsoever after seeing that. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the entire rooftop battle, it was just too intense.

The scale of the rooftop battle feels massive now, especially with Yamato revealing she is the guardian wolf of Wano.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1041 sits deep in the Onigashima raid, where the Straw Hats and their allies have split off into individual matchups across the battlefield. Following Episode 1040's spotlight on Jimbei's pride and combat prowess, this installment shifts focus to Yamato's emotionally charged stand against Kaidou and Franky's escalating duel with Sasaki—pushing both fights closer to their decisive moments. It continues the raid's pattern of cycling through concurrent battles, building momentum toward the larger climactic confrontations still ahead.
