Sanji running around with Zoro wrapped up like a literal cross is the funniest thing this show has done in weeks and he still manages to kick everyone in the way

Yamato handing over Oden's journal to Momo felt so heavy and it is crazy to think she kept that book safe for twenty years just for this specific moment in the castle

Ulti really messed up by hitting Tama and seeing Nami finally stand her ground after that slap was such a great moment for her character development even if she is terrified

orihime_oracle_103
Big Mom telling Page One that even pirates have a code of honor before knocking him out cold was such a powerful line and it really changed how the whole raid feels
megumin_mage_148's avatar

Those flashback scenes with Izo and Kiku dancing in the snow were beautiful but the pacing in the middle of the episode slowed down way too much with all the running through hallways

Luffy and Kaido trading punches on the roof while everyone else is fighting for their lives below is such a cool visual and you can tell Kaido is actually having fun now
sterngrand_sword_488's avatar

Big Mom switching from a terrifying monster to a sweet grandmother for Tama is such a trip and her hitting Page One with that Haki punch felt so deserved after what happened to the town of Okobore and I really felt for Tama when she told O-Lin about the village burning down and now it seems like the alliance has a massive wild card

Kiku and Izo finally reuniting was such a sweet moment, it actually made me a little teary-eyed seeing them after so long. But seriously, the pacing of all that running around afterwards was driving me nuts, I just wanted to skip it and get right back to the intense brawl with Luffy up on the roof!

I still cannot believe Big Mom just deleted Page One like that and the way she turned into a mom for Tama was so weird but I loved every second of her punching that dinosaur into the floor

Nami's face after Ulti hit Tama was genuinely unsettling; I wasn't sure if she was going to crumble or explode right there. Yet, the way she then stood her ground, despite her clear fear, reminded me of her unwavering loyalty to those she cares about, especially the vulnerable. She might be a navigator, but I truly believe she’s got the heart of a fighter when it truly counts.

Nekomamushi finding out about Perospero being on the floor was the highlight, and his face turning completely feral when he realized he could finally get revenge for Pedro was terrifying

Nekomamushi finding out about Pedro and losing his mind was a gut punch. You can feel his rage and it makes sense why he just sprinted off to find Perospero immediately

That roof fight between Luffy and Kaido felt a bit stiff in this one. The production must be saving the good stuff for the next round

The Haki clashing between Luffy and Kaido looks so heavy and those black lightning effects really sell the power. It is cool that they are both actually smiling while trying to destroy each other

Ulti really had the nerve to strike a child like Tama and now she has to deal with Nami looking absolutely terrifying while she prepares to protect that kid

Yamato giving Momonosuke his father's journal made me feel like things were finally coming full circle and it was such a heavy scene to watch

Yamato giving Momonosuke the journal was such a heavy moment, and it feels like the weight of Oden's legacy is finally passing to his son

Kiku and Izo's flashback, seeing them together in the snow, really made me tear up thinking about everything they've been through and sacrificed. It's crazy how much they've endured for Oden and Wano, and finally having that quiet moment to acknowledge it felt like such a poignant, deserved beat for their incredible bond.

Sanji carrying Zoro around like a giant burrito is the funniest thing this arc. Their rivalry is still the best part of the show and it makes the intense war feel a bit more grounded

My heart broke for Momonosuke when Yamato handed over the journal. Seeing his father's writing after all this time made the history of his family feel so much more tangible and important for the future of Wano

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following the fallout of Nami and Usopp's confrontation with Ulti and Page One and Big Mom's explosive intervention, Episode 1032 broadens the scope to cover the war's many fronts simultaneously. It sits deep in the Raid on Onigashima stretch of the Wano arc, functioning as a connective tissue episode that advances multiple character threads toward their individual climactic moments. The groundwork laid here — particularly around Yamato, Chopper, and the Scabbards — directly sets up the pivotal showdowns that define Wano's endgame.
