The animation for Marco flying around was beautiful, but the pacing felt a bit slow with all those reaction shots. It felt like the episode was dragging its feet right before the big rooftop explosion.

I am still shaking after seeing Zoro block that Sovereignty blast because that was easily the most insane thing he has ever done. The way his body was literally burning while he held back the power of two Yonko was terrifying and cool. I also loved how smug Luffy was when Kaido actually felt the need to dodge his Red Hawk this time.

My jaw hit the floor when Ashura Doji realized it was an ink drawing and jumped on the explosives. Seeing the scabbards lose another brother after that fake Oden reveal was just brutal to watch

Luffy mocking Kaido for dodging was so good because it shows the gap is finally closing. That smirk really said everything about how much stronger he got since the start of this raid

Kanjuro is the absolute worst for using Oden like that and breaking the scabbards' hearts again. Ashura Doji went out like a legend to protect everyone from that explosion

Kid really needs to start doing more because right now he just looks like he is standing there while Zoro and Law do all the heavy lifting and it makes him look pretty weak

I can't believe Law managed to teleport everyone away just in time because they would have been completely vaporized. My heart stopped when Zoro held that beam back and yelled for the others to run

Orochi coming back with all those heads just to set the castle on fire is actually disgusting. He is such a petty loser and now everyone is trapped in the flames while the roof is exploding

I was yelling at the screen when Luffy asked Kaido if he was scared and dodged because it would hurt. He really has that look in his eyes now

The instant the Scabbards saw fake Oden, I felt this wave of complex sadness for them; their longing for their lord was so potent it made them vulnerable. Ashura Doji's grim determination to absorb that explosion, knowing full well it was a trap, showed his immense personal growth and commitment to Wano, and it was absolutely brutal to witness.

Luffy smiling while Kaido hits him shows how much he has grown, and calling him out for dodging that Red Hawk was a bold thing to do. He is finally acting like a real threat

Orochi just wont stay dead and it is getting so annoying at this point and seeing him crawl out of the fire with more heads just makes me want someone to finish him for good

Kanjuro is actually the worst for using Oden like that, but Ashura Doji went out like a total legend to save the other scabbards. That explosion on the balcony was a brutal way to go

Luffy telling Kaido he only dodged because it would actually hurt was the coolest thing ever and that kid has so much confidence even when he is covered in blood and facing literal monsters

The animation when Marco kicked Queen was so smooth and Marco is just everywhere at once helping everyone survive this chaos. He is carrying so much on his shoulders

My brain is still processing Zoro taking the full force of a combined yonko attack and staying conscious and I honestly thought he was done for when the screen went white and the roof got vaporized

Kanjuro really pulled out all the stops with that fake Oden illusion, and I felt such a punch to the gut seeing Ashura Doji sacrifice himself for everyone. It makes me question how someone could be so utterly cold and betray people who once trusted him like that.

Inuarashi stepping up against Jack like that? I immediately knew he wasn't just fighting for the group; he was finally, *finally*, getting his chance to settle that horrific Zou incident. That look in his eyes told me he wasn't going to let Jack off easy, and I was so ready for it.

My nerves were shot when Law had to teleport everyone away after Zoro took the brunt of that massive Hakai blast and seeing Zoro so messed up afterward felt really high stakes

Orochi being alive is actually so annoying because he just won't stay down. Seeing him slither around the castle and start more fires is just frustrating after everything he has done

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1025 lands squarely in Wano's Onigashima Raid, following Episode 1024's resolution of the Ice Oni virus crisis through Chopper's efforts, and now escalating the central rooftop confrontation to its most dire point. This episode serves as the critical low point for the Worst Generation, directly setting up Episode 1026's counteroffensive where the Supernovas mount their strike back against the Emperors. It's the narrative fulcrum between desperation and retaliation in the war's biggest clash.
