Noragami Episode 1: A Housecat, a Stray God, and a Tail

i am pretty sure i have seen this before but it didn't leave a huge impression, so i am giving it a second chance! he animation is super vibrant, but it hasn't completely hooked me yet.

a highly promising pilot that effectively balances a comedic tone with a serious supernatural mystery. the visual direction is vibrant, and the voice acting is stellar. while it functions well as an introduction to the half-phantom concept, it lacks a definitive narrative hook.

the animation is beautiful and the music goes hard, but i am still waiting for that one moment to fully hook me in. yato being an absolute cheapskate god and his weapon immediately quitting on him in the first five minutes is hilarious tho
