Firstly fire whoever is making the music choice for this anime. Without a doubt awful again and again for important moments. Are the lyrics even considered properly for the moment its showing for?

The amount of time skipping in the final episode is crazy, So much that was not shown or solve, no reaction coming from characters such as the son of Taira Denki. How did Ohga even took the defeat? How did it even came to that they are willing to consider peace? How did no one even thought that Ohga would be replaced for a failure her war? Did all her citizen just forget that she led them into a failed invasion? Did the pro surrender faction really just accepted Ohga when she returned?

The fact that there's so much unanswered question and they just went ahead a skip to the next arc is crazy. It leaves a huge distaste and unsatisfied feeling for a finale. In all 12 ep, what did Asama even did? to be introduced as the 2nd MC, and nothing important happen from his side till the end, the most he did was shot someone from his horse and then wave his sword around. LIke gosh what?

Credit where its due for good dialogue, but there's way too much flaw and negative feeling in the end to justify recommending this to anyone.

There are some aspects of this episode that are exceptional, and some others that feel rushed.

The animation and the soundtrack are the best of the season, along with the first episode. But I feel that the pace of the episode was very fast, because a lot of things happen in the last seven minutes without any breathing room.

I expected an intense war but I am still satisfied watching the outcome. It gives a plot twist and a big hint for next season. Heavy watch but it manages to hook us!

L'anime migliore della stagione, a mani basse. L'animazione è pazzesca, la trama è coinvolgente, tutto funziona!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 11, 'Rückzugsstrategie,' shifted the focus to tactical retreats and the quiet regrouping of factions — a necessary exhale before the finale's reckoning. 'The Fall of Seii' is the direct culmination of that strategic recalibration, bringing the three-nation conflict to a decisive crossroads. As the final episode of the season, it closes the immediate narrative arc while positioning key characters and unresolved tensions for whatever comes next.
