Un episodio en el que al fin nos muestran al protagonista haciendo cosas después de muchos episodios, volvemos a ver a ese personaje honestamente analítico, capaz de hacerse con la suya. Veremos cómo va su plan y si acaso el gordo no significará un problema.

Welcome back main character. As always the maneuver so far has always been "I am merely following the law hence I am right", the show wants you to believe the main character is incredibly smart by placing dumb people as his obstacle so far, i guess the only good thing so far is we do not know how smart taira denki is as the main villain. The story will make or break depending on how smart the main villain is in the end.

A story about a smart main character will never be complete if the counterpart is always dumb.

Ep flew by again, peak anime.

One of the best episode ever. It is really amazing, and i am looking forward for Episode 11.

I still cant believe Aoteru walked into the palace and told the Emperor to just give up Fukui. I was stunned when he called them all frogs in a well

Seeing Aoteru stand his ground against the guards was cool, but that ending really caught me off guard. I thought he was going to ask for more troops or a new general, but he basically just told them to surrender the whole territory to the Seii forces. The way he looked at Taira after that execution was chilling and I love how his eyes glowed at the very end

Aoteru telling those guards off was so satisfying and then Taira just ends that one guy out of nowhere

I still cant believe Aoteru told the Emperor to just pull everyone out of Fukui like that. The way he shut down those arrogant guards at the gate was so satisfying and I love how calm he stayed during that confrontation

Taira is absolutely terrifying for how casual he is with that execution. Aoteru walked right into that den of lions and did not even blink while the entire court was screaming for blood

Ohga is such a force of nature and her Winter General Strategy sounds like a complete nightmare for the Yamato forces if they actually try to push forward

Taira is terrifying for how he just had that guard killed like it was nothing and then smiled at Aoteru like they were best friends

The visual style during Ohga speech in the rain was so striking with those deep reds and blacks and her facial tattoo looked incredible

Watching Kaku pass out from a drug overdose while Ryumon is crying at his bedside really shows how desperate the Yamato army has become

That blue glow in Aoteru eyes at the very end gave me chills especially with everyone in the room screaming at him for his withdrawal demand

I have been waiting for Aoteru to finally reach Osaka, and he did not disappoint at all because the manner in which he dismantled that guard was so satisfying, but then Taira showing up and just executing the guy was such a massive tonal shift and I am stressed by that ending because Aoteru is basically gambling his life on this withdrawal plan

The contrast between Taira acting all friendly in the carriage and then the sheer blood on the ground from his subordinate killing that guard was deeply unsettling

I really like seeing Aoteru use logic as a weapon to make powerful people look like idiots and it felt so good to see that female official finally shut up

It is wild how Aoteru stays so calm with a sword at his throat, especially when he started lecturing the guard about imperial law

Even though there's no action, Aotearu's negotiation speech keeps us hooked from start to finish because we're curious how he takes control without using force. At the end of the episode, it leaves us with a huge jaw-dropping moment and cliffhanger!
