QUICK TAKES

A lot of things happen in this episode. Still can't see where the plot is heading. Also their interaction is just hard to follow and difficult to understand.

The whole white words on black background thing is getting old honestly. It tries to be deep and doesn't really do anything with an otherwise amazing concept. The repetitive nature of all the main character's "deep messages" is boiled down and feels very simplistic when laid out

The story gears back towards the anime-exclusive subplot with the kpop esque group, it feels very underwhelming. The sequences with 'profound' words and rebellious imagery feels unnecessary at times, like it's trying way too hard to be unique in that sense.

You can really see KAngel falling apart after London and the glitching effects whenever she gets stressed are making the whole atmosphere feel so suffocating

Watching the Karamazov group sleep in that giant bed together at the end was actually kind of sweet and you can tell they are all they have in this world

That KAngel plush sequence was so strange and seeing it vomit rainbows on a keyboard made the whole thing feel kind of gross because this show is getting really weird

Nechika and Michica saving Ame from those guys at night was such a cool moment and it totally explains why she looks at them like they are gods or something

I felt so bad for Ame when her mom kept calling and she just stared at the screen because it reminds me of how hard it is to face real life when you just want to stay online

The arcade scene hit me hard because Ame finally found someone who understands how lonely it is to just pretend all the time for an audience and it made me really cry

I really like how the story is building up after Kache's intense sequence in the last one. It really feels like a 180 for her! The KAngel irl scene was incredible, it was so unexpected but leaned so much into this show's uncanny surrealist vibes.
