This is must watch. The scene is very peak, Naruto shows his rasenshuriken finally, that is the most peak scene here.

I still can't get over that sound the Rasen Shuriken made before it hit Kakuzu and that crater was huge

Hearing that the wind chakra basically turns into tiny needles makes that jutsu way more intimidating than a basic Rasengan and Kakuzu really had no chance of surviving that

Kakashi and Yamato stood back to let the kid take the lead and that shows how much he has changed since the start of the series

When the dust finally cleared from Naruto's Rasenshuriken, I was genuinely shocked to see Kakuzu just absolutely decimated and lying in that massive hole. My jaw kinda dropped at how complete his defeat was, and it was such a satisfying sight after everything he put them through, showcasing Naruto's insane progress.

I feel like a weight is gone now that both those Akatsuki guys are dead, especially after everything they did to my favorite sensei Asuma during this arc.

I could practically feel the air rupture when Naruto finally unleashed that Rasenshuriken; the way Kakuzu was just annihilated, after acting like he was totally immortal, was such a relief, and that grinding, bone-chilling sound effect really made my skin crawl with how destructive it was.

Kakuzu was such a nightmare to fight so watching him finally go down to a single hit from Naruto was a great way to end this whole mess

My ears are still ringing from that jutsu sound effect and seeing the wind chakra expand into that massive dome of blades was purely terrifying

Naruto is becoming a different level of ninja after finishing that training and taking out an Akatsuki member by himself without any help from Kurama is huge

I was convinced those clones were a mistake at first but the way they tricked Kakuzu for the real Naruto to jump in was so smart

The damage on Naruto's arm looked pretty nasty and it makes sense why Tsunade would be worried about him using it again. It makes that move feel way more dangerous when it actually hurts the user too, so seeing those blades destroy Kakuzu at that level was just as scary for Naruto's hand as it was for the bad guy.

Could not believe how calm Naruto stayed against Kakuzu; I mean, it's such a huge leap from his usual impulsive style, and it honestly made me proud. When he pulled off that genius clone feint and then just absolutely vaporized those hearts, I had this flash of insight that he's truly maturing beyond just brute strength.

When Naruto finally whipped out that wind-infused Rasengan, I cheered so loud, but then that chilling screech before it hit made me think about all the times he's almost given up trying to get stronger. It's like I could hear every struggle he's been through in that sound.

I honestly didn't think both Hidan and Kakuzu would actually go down in the same episode, especially after all the trouble they caused; it feels like such a huge weight lifted off the village, but I'm also wondering what new threat will pop up now.

I was absolutely fist-pumping when Shikamaru finally pulled off that insane plan to take out Hidan, using the shadows and that lighter, like, he really thought of everything! Then Naruto just bursts in, and I genuinely didn't expect his new Rasen Shuriken to be *that* devastating, totally wiping out Kakuzu in one go, but seeing how much it hurt Naruto too made me a little uneasy.

That crater Naruto carved into the ground was insane, it really makes me wonder if even he knows the full extent of his strength. But those microscopic needles, man, just picturing someone getting their insides shredded like that sends shivers down my spine – that's a truly horrifying way to go.

I was honestly so hyped when Naruto landed that Rasenshuriken on Kakuzu; after everything that guy put them through, seeing him just get absolutely wrecked in one hit was pure satisfaction for me. It really paid off all those training arcs I watched Naruto struggle through, making me so proud of how far he's come.

I seriously thought Naruto was just gonna go in head-first like usual, but seeing him strategically use those clones to mess with Kakuzu really caught me off guard in the best way. It just goes to show how much he's actually growing and thinking things through now, not just relying on brute force like the old days.

I'm still reeling from how brutal Naruto's new jutsu was; seeing it just shred Kakuzu like that made me realize he's not messing around anymore. For years, I honestly just thought he was all talk and no real technique, but this felt like a true turning point where he finally proved to everyone, and maybe even himself, how strong he could truly be.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 88 lands at the climax of the Akatsuki Suppression arc, directly following Shikamaru's intense solo confrontation with Hidan. While that fight showcased tactical brilliance, this episode pivots to Naruto's battle against Kakuzu, serving as the definitive proof-of-concept for his new abilities. It marks a critical turning point that will reshape how allies and enemies alike perceive Naruto heading into the next stretch of the series.
