Sakura uses antidote to fight, creative way to show her character experienced after fighting Sasori

It made me so happy to see Yamato being a total beast against Fudou and he really proved why he is leading the team right now

yamato really showed no mercy when he crushed fudo and that was easily his coolest moment in this whole arc

seeing all those reanimated ninja swarming the leaf was creepy and it felt like a totally different show for a minute

Sora refusing to help Furido destroy the leaf village was a huge moment and his turn towards the good side feels right

sakura *finally* getting that big win against fuen had me practically yelling at the screen in relief, honestly. i mean, she's been through so much, and seeing her just absolutely crush it really made me feel like all those past struggles were leading up to this moment.

Naruto taking all those shocks from Fuen was rough to watch and that girl switching bodies and elements was a weird twist for a filler villain

I love that Sakura finally got to punch something for real and seeing her turn into one punch man made me so happy

The way the village had to scramble against those revived souls felt like a horror movie and the desperation in the air was actually pretty intense

Sora choosing to protect the village, despite his deep-seated grudge against the Hokage, truly moved me; it felt like he finally found a place where he genuinely belonged, moving past all that internal conflict. And when Sakura just absolutely leveled that guy, my immediate thought was "yes!" – she absolutely earned that powerful moment after so often being in the background.

Shikamaru just sitting there and overthinking while the zombies kept coming was annoying but his plan better work in the next one

Watching Yamato outplay Fudou and just crush the life out of him was the highlight because he usually plays it so safe

Asuma looks so weak getting trapped in that barrier by a basic zombie and it makes no sense for someone on his level

The village getting swarmed by a literal zombie army is actually terrifying, and the scale of the horde makes the stakes feel way higher than usual filler

I was seriously surprised by Fuka's elemental jutsu; I didn't expect her to have so many, and it made me feel a bit worried for Naruto 'cause he really had to pull out all the stops to beat her.

Sakura totally blindsided me with her tactical play this episode, I seriously didn't expect her to pull off such a clever win instead of just healing or protecting someone. My jaw dropped when I realized she'd outsmarted them all; it just makes me hope we'll get to see her lead more often, not just be in the background.

It was absolutely brutal seeing Asuma have to fight his old friend Kitane, I just felt so bad for him having to go through that. This whole Twelve Guardian Ninja backstory feels way heavier now that we know how personal those conflicts really get, it makes me wonder what other messed-up things happened between them.

Sora’s discovery that Asuma was the one who killed his father totally threw me for a loop; I just kept thinking, how do you even begin to reconcile something so profound and painful, especially when you’re already so troubled? It’s going to be a long road for him to even start processing that kind of betrayal, and it makes me feel for him.

Okay, Furido's Limelight jutsu seriously freaked me out; I was on the edge of my seat seeing how quickly it spread through the Leaf Village. How are they going to stop something so destructive when it just keeps getting worse, you know? It feels like it's going to take some kind of crazy new power-up to even stand a chance.

I seriously didn't expect those Kohaku clan members to turn the Leaf Village into some zombie nightmare, it was genuinely surprising and just made everything feel so much more intense, like how are they even gonna deal with this?

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 67 continues the filler Twelve Guardian Ninja arc, directly following 'Revived Souls,' where reanimated Guardian Shinobi posed an escalating threat to the Hidden Leaf Village. This installment expands those confrontations across multiple battlefields simultaneously, raising the arc's intensity before leading into 'Moment of Awakening,' which pushes the crisis toward its turning point. The arc sits between the early Shippuden canon storylines, bridging the gap before the narrative returns to adapted material.
