Nowaki turning out to be Fuushin was a massive twist because he looked so different before he dropped the transformation and it makes sense why he was so quiet during the trip and seeing Chino reveal those red eyes and talk about her clan being dumped in Hell Valley by the Uchiha makes this whole conflict feel way more personal for Sasuke now

Why is Sasuke barely using his Rinnegan when things get difficult but his basic genjutsu is still cool enough to get the job done

Sasuke using his Sharingan to put those villagers to sleep instead of just blasting them shows how much he has grown since the war ended

It makes me feel so bad for the Chinoike clan since the Uchiha basically forced them into that hole and now the past is coming back to bite Sasuke

That Ketsuryugan blood stuff is actually pretty terrifying and the way the eyes looked in that ink style flashback was super creepy

The dynamic between Orochimaru and Yamato is hilarious and you can tell nobody trusts that snake at all

Sasuke jumping in to save Chino from that falling building was such a big change from how he used to act, and it shows how much he actually cares now.

I really hated seeing En Oyashiro talk about people like they were just toys in a collection and Sasuke looked like he wanted to punch him through a wall

The way those exploding humans looked in the arena caught me off guard and seeing Sasuke leap down to help everyone shows how much his mindset changed

Chino dropping the innocent act right after Sasuke saved her from that building was such a cold way to reveal she was the mastermind

The reveal that Nowaki was actually a thin guy using a transformation jutsu was a total surprise and the stare down at the end made the betrayal feel so much worse

En Oyashiro is a total creep for treating ninjas like trading cards and the hope was that Sasuke would just punch him when he started talking about genocide as a market strategy

Using the Sharingan to dive into those memories was a cool move but finding out Chino and Nowaki were behind the explosions the entire time really hurt

My brain is still processing the fact that Chino was the mastermind the whole time because she seemed so harmless and cute earlier, and I actually felt bad for Sasuke when he realized his new travel buddies were just using him for revenge. The way the snow was falling during that final standoff really set the mood for their big fight

That blood red Ketsuryugan eye looks absolutely terrifying in the close ups and you have to wonder how the Uchiha felt when they originally locked that clan away in Hell Valley

Orochimaru tagging along like a weird babysitter is the funniest thing in this arc, and those little comments about Sasuke becoming a hero actually forced a laugh out loud

Sasuke using Amaterasu just to scare the truth out of that Lightning Gang leader was such a power move and I really liked seeing him be that ruthless again

That old ink style for the Chinoike flashback looked amazing and I felt like it made their history with the Uchiha feel much heavier than I expected

Nowaki being Fushin the whole time was a massive shock and the way his body just deflated when he transformed back was so creepy and weird to watch

EPISODE CONTEXT

Picking up directly from episode 485's Coliseum confrontations, this installment shifts Sasuke's solo journey toward the mysteries of the Chinoike clan and the titular Fuushin, deepening the investigative thread running through this late-series arc. It serves as essential connective tissue, layering in revelations that directly set up episode 487, 'The Ketsuryuugan,' where the arc's central conflict comes into sharper focus. With only fourteen episodes remaining in the entire series, these final arcs function as epilogue stories that flesh out character resolutions before the conclusion.
