Naruto and Sakura getting so worked up over a fake photographer was hilarious and the whole episode had such a nostalgic feeling to it

The fact that Kishimoto wrote this makes it feel way more official than a normal filler and the Sukea character design was really good

sasuke getting involved in a dumb prank instead of being moody felt like the old days and the face reveal lived up to all those years of waiting

Kakashi hiding as the photographer the whole time was the ultimate prank and he really played Naruto and the others for fools

Everyone was expecting another gag but they actually showed his full face and he looks even better than the fan drawings

This felt like the perfect sequel to that classic episode 101 from the first series and seeing the trio work together again was great

My eyes were glued to the screen when he finally took that mask off in the shower because the guy is actually really handsome

Kakashi actually being the photographer had my jaw on the floor, like, I waited forever to finally see his face and for him to pull *that* prank was just so him. It makes me wonder if he enjoyed messing with everyone all these years.

Watching Sasuke actually get into the mission to unmask Kakashi felt like the old days, and you can really see how much the team dynamic changed since then

I finally saw what is under the mask and Kakashi is basically a model and the way he just played Naruto and Sasuke as Sukea was hilarious

I find it so strange to finally see what is under that mask after all these years of theories and fan art, I remember watching the original series and wondering if we would ever get this reveal or if it would just be a joke forever, seeing him as Sukea and then the final reveal in the bathroom gave me so much closure

When Naruto looked into that mirror at the end, I felt this overwhelming sense of finality, like the young Hokage's journey was truly beginning. Even with some of the animation getting a bit wonky, that last shot just *spoke* to me about how much he’s changed and what’s ahead. It was definitely worth the wait.

I waited over a decade for this moment and seeing his actual face at the end made me so happy and the mole was a nice touch

The animation looked a bit off during some of the chase scenes, but seeing the mole on his chin was the highlight of the whole week

Everyone is debating if this is filler but since Kishimoto wrote the original story seeing his face counts as canon for the whole story

It was weird that he did not have his sharingan visible during the reveal but seeing his actual face after all this time was still amazing

I honestly didn't think we would ever see what was under that mask, so seeing his face finally was such a massive relief for me, and he is actually so good looking while seeing him pull off that crazy disguise as the photographer just to test their teamwork made me miss the early episodes of the show when things were just fun and simple

Hearing that classic soundtrack again while Team 7 tried to unmask their sensei made the whole episode feel like the old days for me

Finding out that photographer Sukea was actually just Kakashi in a wig the whole time is the funniest thing this show has done in years

EPISODE CONTEXT

Dropping in at episode 469 of 500, this standalone filler arrives immediately after the conclusion of the Ashura and Indra backstory arc, giving viewers a comedic palate cleanser before the series pushes toward its endgame. It has zero connection to the main narrative and sets up nothing for the following episode, 'Connecting Thoughts,' which resumes the core storyline. Treat it as an optional but fan-favorite side stop in the final stretch of Shippuden.
