I can't believe they had Kakashi tied up with regular ropes like he isn't a jonin and it makes the writing feel so lazy and messy even for filler

When I saw those jonin, supposedly top-tier ninja, all tied up with plain old rope, I just couldn't help but crack up, like, seriously? It makes them look so silly after all the intense battles we've seen them in, and honestly, I'm just counting the minutes until the real story picks back up again.

Ugh, this episode really dragged for me, I felt like nothing was happening and I kept checking the timestamp. Honestly, the only part that felt like it had any actual effort put in was that new ending song; it was a nice surprise after such a slow setup.

Jiraiya penning a whole novel just to hype himself up, even in a dream, got a chuckle out of me; that's pure Jiraiya, no doubt. Seriously though, it felt super weird to see those Jonin get defeated so effortlessly without any seals to explain it. I was left wondering why they were so weak when they're usually way more competent than that.

I was seriously rolling my eyes at how they tried to reframe Hizashi's "sacrifice" again; come on, we all know he was basically forced into it this time around. It just felt so cheap to try and make it sound noble when it was clearly coercion, and it honestly kinda cheapens the whole idea of what a true sacrifice is supposed to be for me.

When Orochimaru actually brought Hizashi back, my jaw dropped. I mean, after all the drama of his sacrifice for Neji and the main branch, just to use him as a body double? It felt like a slap in the face to his memory and the whole Hyuga clan's struggle, honestly.

Ugh, I really wish they'd just move past this Hizashi filler arc already; it feels like we've been stuck in this drawn-out flashback for ages, especially when I know the manga wrapped up the actual war what feels like forever ago. It's kinda frustrating because I'm just itching to see what happens next in the main story!

What even *is* this Jiraiya Ninja Scrolls arc, seriously? I'm so confused with this dream-within-a-book-within-a-flashback nonsense, but seeing Hizashi reanimated as just a decoy for Orochimaru felt like such a cheap shot against his legacy. It genuinely made me question if the writers even remembered how much his original sacrifice meant.

Honestly, my brain is doing acrobatics trying to follow this whole 'dream within a book within a flashback' thing they've got going on, and I'm just getting so impatient. All this filler makes me miss the real tension of the war, and I'm ready for the plot to actually move forward.

Ugh, I was so confused when Hizashi still had his seal, even after being reanimated in this alternate timeline. It just felt like a cheap way to keep the drama going, and honestly, it pulled me right out of the episode because it makes no sense for *this* world.

I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Kakashi and the other Jonin get taken down so effortlessly; it felt so wrong to see these supposed village elites looking like total beginners while the Genin were actually getting stuff done. I mean, where was their usual skill?

I was kinda hoping for something more from Jiraiya's dream; seeing Yahiko just explode again felt like a cheap shot and honestly, kinda boring since I already know what happened. But man, seeing Hizashi actually talk to Neji properly after their brief meeting during the war was just heartbreakingly good – like, Neji finally got a real moment, and I think he really needed that closure.

Seriously, I'm just so done with this Jiraiya book arc; it feels like a real gut punch to anyone who's actually invested in these characters. Like, why is Tsunade just chilling, reading a novel in her perfect dream when she could finally be with Nawaki and Dan, the people she missed most? And seeing Hizashi with that seal still on just pulls me right out of it, proving they really aren't even bothering to check the established lore anymore.

Okay, my jaw seriously dropped when Tsunade's dream was about Jiraiya writing his dumb book, and not her actual family like Dan or Nawaki. For a second, I was just baffled, but then it hit me that maybe, just maybe, it’s about her subconsciously connecting with his purpose, his legacy that she’s now trying to protect, and that’s actually kinda poignant in a weird way.

Seriously, I can't believe they're trying to tell me these high-level ninja are getting caught by *regular ropes* in this episode; it just feels so disrespectful to everything we've seen them do before. It makes me wonder if the writers just stopped caring after all this time.

I was seriously starting to lose patience with this arc's slow burn, thinking it was just dragging. But then, those cracks spreading over Hizashi's face just snapped me back, making me feel totally freaked out by how deep this whole dream illusion really goes.

Did Orochimaru really just Edo Tensei Hizashi? My jaw dropped when that happened, it felt so out of nowhere and honestly, it made me wonder if the writers were struggling to link this arc back to the main story.

How did Kakashi, who's pulled off impossible moves before, get snagged by just a regular rope alongside everyone else? I mean, my jaw dropped at how easily they were all caught, it just felt so out of character for such seasoned ninjas after all their crazy battles.

Did Sakura really just vacuum out poison with her mouth after all that intense medical training? I'm honestly so confused why the writers would ignore her actual ninja skills like that, making such a dramatic moment feel more cheap than genuinely heroic. It just makes me wonder if they forgot about all the hard work she put in for her development.

Ugh, I really hate how this filler is making me dislike the main characters, it's just such a waste and feels like it's ruining their whole vibe after everything we've seen them go through.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 440 of 500, this filler installment follows 'The Child of Prophecy,' which centered on Naruto's destined role, and pivots to Neji's personal reckoning with the Hyūga clan's rigid hierarchy. It bridges individual character explorations before 'Returning Home' steers the narrative back toward the main storyline. As a filler entry deep in the final stretch of Shippuden, it's entirely skippable for viewers focused on canon progression but offers dedicated Neji fans a standalone character piece.
