Obito's desperate struggle to keep pace with Kakashi in that training fight was so vivid, it actually made me a little sad, knowing where their intense rivalry would eventually lead. I couldn't help but feel how much he yearned for that recognition and equality, which just makes their later, tragic confrontations sting even more.
