Hiruzen just lets Danzo do whatever he wants and it makes the Third Hokage look so pathetic and weak for allowing the Foundation to treat kids like tools

My ears were so happy to hear the original voice for Kakashi again and it makes these flashbacks feel way more authentic

When Itachi popped up in the preview at the end, my stomach flipped – I knew something massive was coming, and honestly, I'd been waiting for this kind of payoff for ages! It really felt like the entire series was finally building to a critical moment that I've been so eager to see unfold.

It was nice to see Kakashi use genjutsu for once instead of just spamming chidori, and that snake fight had some cool moments even if the logic was a bit weird

I actually enjoy learning more about Yamato and his past under Danzo but this arc needs to wrap up so we can get back to the main war

I was totally blindsided by that ANBU Itachi preview, and for a second I forgot we were even in filler with how much hype surrounded it! My mind is already racing with what we might uncover about his past, especially considering the heavy burdens he carried later on.

It was so tough watching Kinoe go through that mission, and seeing Kakashi try so hard to get through to him really makes me understand why their bond is so strong later on. I just kept thinking about all the times Kakashi looked out for Yamato, and it makes so much more sense now.

This ANBU arc is genuinely so much more engaging than typical filler, and I found myself really getting into how Yamato and Kakashi first crossed paths. It's infuriating to watch Hiruzen just let Danzo get away with his manipulative schemes, especially knowing how much chaos that man causes throughout the whole series, but I was so relieved when Kakashi stood up for Kinoe.

It's genuinely wild to think Kakashi just reached right into that dark place and physically pulled Yamato out, almost as if he was yanking him from the clutches of despair itself. I never quite grasped the silent strength Kakashi possesses until seeing him literally save his friend from the brink, forever changing how I see their future together.

My heart absolutely shattered for Kinoe when he finally got that Danzo was just using him as a weapon; I mean, to be so betrayed by someone you trusted, that's just awful. But then Kakashi, man, he totally stepped in and gave Kinoe an actual choice, which honestly felt like a huge turning point for both of them after everything they'd been through.

Danzo turning those kids into mere tools for the Foundation is just so infuriating, how could he be so ruthless? I can totally see now why Yamato struggles with social interactions; it makes me so sad to think about the kind of childhood that probably shaped him into the person we know today.

I was genuinely surprised by how effortlessly Kakashi handled Kinoe; it just solidified for me that he's always been on another level, even when he was younger. And when he started talking about what it means to be a Leaf shinobi, I could totally feel the weight of his words, knowing all he's been through.

Yamato finally breaking free from Danzo's shadow really hit different, especially seeing how his early connection with Kakashi clearly laid the groundwork for their whole Team 7 dynamic. I can't help but feel their shared past makes their loyalty to each other later on so much more believable, like they already understood each other without needing to say a word.

It's just wild how Hiruzen let Danzo get away with that child soldier program right under his nose, I mean, didn't he claim to protect Konoha's future? My jaw actually dropped realizing how much the Third Hokage must have conveniently overlooked, and it makes me wonder if he ever truly knew what was happening in his own village.

I seriously cheered when Kinoe finally walked away from Danzo, honestly, I was just so sick of seeing that guy manipulate everyone around him. It feels like his poisonous influence has been messing with so many lives in the Leaf for ages, and it's about time someone saw through it.

I gotta say, I was genuinely surprised Kakashi still chose to save Kinoe after that ambush; it really cemented for me just how much he values his comrades, no matter what. But man, Danzo is seriously the worst for how he treats those kids in the Foundation, it's so frustrating to watch him mess with their minds like that.

Whoa, the preview showing Itachi in the ANBU for next week completely blindsided me – I honestly thought we'd never get the full story. I'm genuinely curious to see if this explains his true motivations and how much pain he must have been carrying around, because I've only ever gotten glimpses.

I actually didn't mind this filler at all, which is a huge surprise! It really makes me think about Yamato's past and how much he's been through, giving him so much more depth before we even get to the crazy Itachi episodes.

Honestly, I was surprised these filler episodes weren't completely boring, like they sometimes can be, but man, I'm just itching for them to get back to the actual war and the main story already, it feels like forever.

I was genuinely surprised to see Kakashi bust out some genjutsu for once instead of just going straight for the Chidori; it made me realize how much I miss seeing him rely on that versatile ninja side. It really felt like he was living up to his "Copy Ninja" title, showing off the tactical depth I always knew he had.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Picking up directly after 'The Targeted Sharingan,' where Kakashi and Kinoe's conflict reached a boiling point, this episode explores the fallout of that confrontation and the choices that define both characters moving forward. It sits deep in the ANBU-focused filler stretch around episodes 349-361, serving as connective tissue between escalating tensions and the upcoming 'An Uchiha ANBU,' which broadens the scope to the squad's internal politics and new arrivals. For viewers following this arc, it's a pivotal character bridge rather than a standalone detour.
