Watching Kabuto try to use every Sound Four power only to get stuck in that loop shows how insane Itachi really is as a ninja

I am feeling bad for Kabuto and that Izanami loop is truly terrifying because he just keeps losing his mind over and over while Itachi watches him struggle

Whoa, little Kabuto really threw me for a loop; I absolutely didn't expect his past to be so heartbreaking. It makes so much sense now how his desperate search for a place to belong, combined with that brutal orphanage life, molded him into the complex and often twisted individual we know him as, and honestly, I feel a pang of sympathy for him despite everything.

That moment when Itachi's final genjutsu revealed itself, breaking only if you stopped pretending to be someone else, made my jaw absolutely drop. I genuinely felt a chill realizing how every single action he took, even years ago, was probably part of some bigger, terrifyingly brilliant scheme. It's like his mind works on a completely different plane than anyone else's.

I can't believe Izanami just keeps looping that exact same splash and sword strike; it's so chilling to think Kabuto is stuck in that moment forever, I mean, that's a seriously messed up way to trap someone and it makes me wonder if Itachi felt any regret for using such a potent jutsu.

I thought it was wild how Itachi just gently guided Kabuto into that Izanami loop, not out of malice, but because he genuinely wanted Kabuto to face himself. Seeing Kabuto relive his past and realize his true identity was just a kid from the orphanage really made me reconsider my whole impression of him. It's kinda sad how he got so lost trying to find a purpose.

Kabuto's desperate search for an identity by just taking on other people's powers felt incredibly hollow to me, like he was trying to stitch together a person from scraps. When Itachi used Izanami on him, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness seeing him finally confront how truly lost he was, even knowing all the messed-up stuff he'd done. He just seemed so utterly broken.

Sasuke’s whole moody little brother act during the legendary jutsu explanation was totally my favorite, it just reminded me how he always seems to have his own agenda, even when something huge is happening right in front of him.

Ugh, I was so invested in the deep Izanami conversation, really thinking about what it meant for Itachi, and then that tailed beast song just started playing. It totally yanked me out of the serious vibe; I was honestly confused why they'd put something so upbeat right after such heavy stuff.

Itachi's Izanami on Kabuto was absolutely chilling, and I felt a weird mix of relief and dread knowing Kabuto's now trapped in that loop. It really highlights how Itachi always goes for the deeper, more psychological blow, making me wonder if he truly believes in redemption or just a different kind of punishment.

Ugh, seeing Kabuto crumble when Nono couldn't recognize him was just awful, especially knowing how much his entire identity was wrapped up in her and that orphanage. It makes me feel like his desperate need to belong, born from that lost past, totally drove him down such a dark road.

Kabuto trapped in that Izanami loop just felt so incredibly cruel, even for him; watching Itachi just calmly observe his endless suffering made my skin crawl a bit. I kept wondering if Itachi's trying to force a change in Kabuto by breaking him completely, or if this is simply his cold way of delivering justice, and honestly, that thought is almost more chilling.

I really felt Kabuto's frustration building as he kept throwing out the same moves, only for Itachi to just calmly shut him down and talk about his soul. It made me wonder if Itachi was intentionally trying to get under his skin or genuinely trying to help him find himself, which is kinda wild in the middle of a fight.

Woah, that genjutsu loop with the feather and the horn was seriously creepy; I kept thinking about how utterly hopeless someone would feel being stuck there, totally at Itachi's mercy. It just proves how terrifying his Mangekyo Sharingan really is, and honestly, I always forget how much of a strategic genius he is on top of all that power.

When Itachi laid down that truth to Kabuto about people failing if they can't acknowledge themselves, my gut clenched because it felt so deeply personal to Itachi's own shadowed past. I was surprised by how much weight his words carried, turning the Edo Tensei fight into less of a battle and more of a final, heart-wrenching lesson from him.

Kabuto had me totally tripped out with that water droplet; for a moment, I actually thought my screen was glitching before I realized he was just messing with their perceptions. It makes me curious about how he's able to create such convincing illusions, and I'm a little unnerved thinking what other mind games he's got cooking up.

It was wild how I actually started to feel a glimmer of sympathy for Kabuto stuck in that Izanami loop, despite knowing all the horrific things he's done; Itachi's whole 'stop trying to be Orochimaru' lecture felt less like a battle and more like a twisted self-help session, making me question what drives people to mimic others so desperately. Seriously though, I'm dying to understand the full mechanics of Izanami, it feels like such an ultimate jutsu.

When Itachi dropped that line about self-acknowledgment right before he trapped Kabuto, my stomach just knotted up; it felt so incredibly personal, almost like he was reflecting on his own agonizing journey to this point. I was genuinely astonished by how completely outmaneuvered Kabuto was, even thinking he was the smarter one, Itachi just pulled off the perfect, inescapable trap.

I gotta say, watching Kabuto trying to keep that horn attached while Itachi just dropped those huge truths about not being Orochimaru was heavy, it really made me feel the weight of Itachi trying to break through to him. And that endless loop starting over again? It's kinda messed up how disorienting that whole situation felt, like I was caught in it right alongside Kabuto.

Okay, I totally couldn't figure out why that feather kept appearing on the floor, it was so distracting, but Itachi really had this whole elaborate plan for Kabuto up his sleeve the entire time. Honestly, seeing how far ahead he thinks, even as an Edo Tensei, gives me goosebumps—he's just so frighteningly brilliant sometimes, you know?

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off episode 336's deep dive into Kabuto Yakushi's backstory and the psychological foundations driving his ambitions, this episode pivots that character work into an active confrontation between Kabuto and the Uchiha brothers. It serves as the critical turning point in their battle, introducing the titular forbidden technique that will be further explored in episode 338, 'Izanagi and Izanami,' which expands the mythological lore underlying these abilities. Within the broader Fourth Shinobi World War arc, this stretch represents a pivotal subplot running parallel to the main battlefield.
