Sasuke and Itachi in different location is the most interesting take, showing two character that potentially might meet each other. This much watch for intense feeling

The irony of Sasuke talking to his dead brother while Itachi is literally walking around nearby as a zombie is wild and the eventual reunion is going to be heavy

I was totally blown away that Orochimaru's influence is still kicking around even after all this time; it just makes me wonder how deep his crazy plans really go. What kind of insane power does that scroll Suigetsu and Jugo snagged actually hold to turn this entire war upside down? I'm honestly a little nervous about what he's set in motion.

I was really looking forward to Sasuke finally getting out and testing his new eyes, but the amount of flashbacks in this episode was actually ridiculous. Every time things got interesting they cut back to Team Taka stuff we already know. At least Suigetsu and Jugo found that scroll in the hideout because anything involving Orochimaru usually ends up being pretty huge

I hate how many flashbacks they shoved into this episode but Sasuke using that black flame orb to wreck those clones almost made the wait worth it

The pacing felt so off with those team taka flashbacks and it would have been better to see more of the eternal mangekyo sharingan in action instead of stuff from years ago

Watching Sasuke become this ruthless is scary especially when he used genjutsu on that white zetsu just to get info

Seeing the new susanoo powers was great but the constant cuts to old scenes killed all the momentum of Sasuke finally leaving that cave

Karin really needs some self respect because pining for a guy who literally tried to murder you is actually insane behavior and it makes her scenes so hard to watch

The design for those new eyes looked pretty good but then Sasuke started fighting and his limbs were just flailing around randomly

Sasuke's constant flip-flopping on his goals is honestly so frustrating to watch, I mean, come on, dude! It just makes me feel like he's still a messed-up kid who doesn't know what he truly wants, even after everything.

With the Fourth Great Ninja War heating up, I confess I found myself drifting a bit whenever the flashbacks started rolling in. It was like they kept pulling the rug out from under the immediate action, and I was just itching to get back to the current fight, wondering if we'd ever truly get momentum.

Sasuke finally integrating Itachi's eyes is honestly chilling; I keep wondering if his ambition has just been amplified tenfold now that he has that power. Those Amaterasu flames already looked like pure agony, and seeing him wield them so casually just makes me worry about what he’ll do next.

Didn't we just see those exact flashbacks, like, five episodes ago? My brain was already tuning out because I'm so hyped for the current fight and they keep hitting us with the same old material, making me wonder if they're ever gonna move on.

I was genuinely surprised by how effortlessly Sasuke crushed that Zetsu with his Susanoo, it felt so much more brutal and decisive than I remember him being, almost like he's shedding any hesitation he once had. And his Amaterasu usage is seriously next level now, I wonder if he's figured out some new way to control it or if it's just pure, raw power.

I totally get why Suigetsu is so cynical about Sasuke, it just makes perfect sense considering everything they've been through and how much Sasuke's changed. It's kinda sad to see Jugo still trying to be the honorable one though, searching through all those old dusty hideouts with such unwavering hope while Suigetsu's just over it.

That final shot of Itachi moving again made me jump out of my seat, because *finally*! My mind is racing trying to guess what kind of conversation he and Sasuke will actually have after all this time, and I'm so anxious and excited for it.

I know Suigetsu found that crazy scroll that could seriously change the war, but honestly, I was getting so frustrated with all the old footage and Karin just doing her usual weirdness, it felt like they were stalling. Still, watching Sasuke finally put those new eyes to the test was seriously awesome and made me forget all about waiting for his inevitable reunion with Itachi.

I seriously can't wrap my head around Karin's unwavering loyalty to Sasuke after he just straight up tried to kill her! My jaw just dropped watching her still act like his biggest fan, it's so frustrating how she can overlook something that brutal.

Sasuke and Itachi actually reuniting had me absolutely buzzing, like I was physically leaning into the screen for their conversation to finally start. My hype quickly turned to frustration though, because the episode just kept replaying those old flashbacks, and I kept thinking, "Come on, we've seen this, just let them talk already!"

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the momentum of the Allied Shinobi Forces rallying behind Naruto and Bee, episode 331 deliberately pivots to Sasuke's parallel storyline — a thread that's been simmering while the war dominated the screen. This canon episode functions as critical setup, reintroducing Sasuke's team and their motivations at a point where the war's escalation makes his next move increasingly consequential. It bridges the gap between the battlefield action and the coming convergence of all major players in the Fourth Great Ninja War.
