I know people usually skip the filler arcs but Guren is actually a pretty interesting character and seeing her guilt over Yukimaru's mother makes her feel like more than just another random villain. Naruto figuring out that she isn't all bad while they were stuck in that fog was a nice touch and it really shows how he sees people.

Yukimaru using his chakra to call out the Three Tails was insane and the scale of that beast is just massive

I seriously cannot handle how sad Yukimaru is especially since Guren is the one who took his mom away from him

The raw guilt in Guren's eyes during her quiet moments with Naruto was honestly heartbreaking; I could practically feel the weight of her past actions. When she chose to protect Yukimaru, even after all she'd done, it really made me believe she's actively trying to turn a new leaf, and I'm surprisingly eager to see if she succeeds.

I felt a punch to the gut when they revealed the camellia's history, suddenly understanding how deeply it links Guren to that poor kid and all the pain she's carrying. It makes her character so much more complex, and I'm really wondering if she can ever find peace after something like that.

I was genuinely surprised to see Guren actually help Naruto through his Sasuke hallucinations, it really made me wonder if she's starting to change her ways or if it was just a moment of weakness for her. I mean, she's been so tough, so seeing that gentle side pop out was totally unexpected.

Watching Kakashi try to break into the Three-Tails while all those side battles were going on just had my heart pounding; I was totally invested, especially seeing him put his skills to work like that even in a filler arc.

Ugh, I just get so infuriated seeing how Orochimaru always treats people like disposable pawns, and Guren was no different. It's like he literally just uses up their skills until they're no longer convenient for him, which makes me wonder if he ever actually cared about any of his followers.

I know this arc is mostly filler, but honestly, Guren and Yukimaru's connection kinda pulled me in; I wasn't expecting to care about it this much. Seeing Guren actually snap Naruto out of those Sasuke visions while they were stuck in the Three-Tails showed me she's not just some one-dimensional villain, and it really made their temporary team-up feel surprisingly genuine.

Even when that monstrous beast was trying to swallow him whole, my jaw dropped when Naruto's mind immediately went to Sasuke; it just shows how deeply that bond is ingrained in him, even against his own survival instincts. I'm honestly starting to wonder if a part of him will always be chasing that ghost.

Ugh, those guys with the curse marks were just so irritating; I was practically yelling at the screen for Lee and Tenten to just finish them already. Seriously, I just wanted them to wrap it up so we could get back to whatever was happening in that cave, you know?

When Guren finally put together that she was the one who killed Yukimaru's mother, my stomach just dropped. I kept thinking about how Orochimaru's manipulation has completely twisted her life, and it's heartbreaking to watch her finally confront that horrific truth.

When Naruto and Guren, sworn enemies, got stuck needing to team up inside that massive turtle, I was genuinely floored. It felt so incredibly bizarre to see them relying on each other, and it actually sparked a little hope in me that maybe Guren isn't beyond redemption, especially with Naruto involved.

I was genuinely surprised to see Guren actually help Naruto inside that three-tailed beast; it made me think she's finally questioning Orochimaru's whole deal and starting to make her own choices, which is kinda huge for her character arc. watching them team up like that was a cool moment, showing there's more to her than just being a villain.

I gotta say, seeing Guren actually lower her defenses and start to trust Naruto, even a tiny bit, really got me thinking about how much she must crave that kind of connection. That camellia flower detail for the exit was a subtle but smart way to show her beginning to open up, which I totally didn't expect from her.

Ugh, Kabuto is such a slimy dude, isn't he? I can't believe he's back to messing with those curse marks, and now poor Tenten and Lee are totally outnumbered against those guys, which really stresses me out for them.

Kabuto, you absolute jerk, powering up those poor guys like this to fight Lee and Tenten is just so dirty. My heart honestly goes out to them struggling against foes who are essentially unwilling puppets, and I'm seriously worried about what other twisted traps he's laid out.

Guren’s face when that flower finally bloomed, revealing her awful past with Yukimaru's mother, hit me with such a strange mix of sympathy and frustration. My heart really went out to her seeing her world crumble like that, but I also desperately want her to just *do something* and actually leave Orochimaru now, especially with Yukimaru counting on her.

I was so relieved when they finally used those camellias to get out of that nasty stomach; I seriously thought they were stuck in there forever after all that grossness.

Naruto and Guren actually teaming up in that giant turtle was such a shock, I honestly thought they'd just keep bickering forever. Seeing them use those glowing flowers to escape made me wonder if Guren is finally cracking and showing a different side, or if she's just really good at playing along when it benefits her.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Picking up directly from Episode 107's cliffhanger of Naruto and Guren trapped inside the Three-Tails, this episode deepens their forced partnership and evolving dynamic under pressure. It's the middle stretch of the Three-Tails filler arc, bridging internal survival stakes toward Episode 109's 'Counterattack of the Curse Mark,' where the conflict shifts back to external battles against enhanced enemies. Skippable for canon-only viewers, but a connective piece for anyone following this arc through.
