The hero society that once defined Japan as a nation is falling apart. After the Paranormal Liberation Front war left cities in ruins and public trust in shambles, the villains aren't slowing down: Tomura Shigaraki and All For One are more dangerous than ever, and the heroes are running out of options. All Might's answer is to call in backup from across the ocean: Star and Stripe, America's number one Pro Hero and arguably the strongest woman alive. But All For One has plans to intercept her before she even touches down in Japan, and things escalate fast. This is My Hero Academia's seventh season, and it hits different from the earlier arcs. The school setting is still there, but the stakes have shifted: Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, and the rest of Class 1-A aren't just students anymore. They're preparing for a war alongside Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist, and the show leans hard into that tension. Studio Bones continues doing what they do best with fluid, dynamic fight animation, and the soundtrack lands every emotional beat where it needs to. If you liked the large-scale conflict and desperation of Attack on Titan's later arcs, or the way Naruto Shippuden raised the stakes on its cast, this season captures a similar feeling. The Quirk system stays creative and layered, closer to how One Punch Man plays with power concepts but with more emotional weight behind every clash. Twenty-one episodes, all payoff for years of buildup.
A determined UA student, Izuku Midoriya uses One For All to become the greatest hero.

reirei★★★★★VerifiedEP 21The smooth transition between Toga and Uraraka’s fight and then switching to another fight scene was really good. The second half was amazing. It was unexpected, and the way it left things hanging built even more thrilling anticipation for the next season. I can really feel that it’s coming to an end! 🥹 Let’s gooo!
katana★★★★★VerifiedEP 21Um, excuse me? That was the FINAL episode of this season?! Well, that definitely didn’t satisfy me, lol. But man, this episode looked so freaking badass. I kinda liked how it ended, though, because it built more anticipation for the final season. Things are looking so exciting!
sandaime★★★★★VerifiedEP 21The first half still got me ugly sobbing. Toga Himiko might be one of the most complex and well-written characters in this anime. I love the additional depth they gave to her character, making everything even more emotional. The second half got me thrilled and then kinda left me hanging while waiting for the next season. Lol.
katana★★★★★VerifiedEP 20I’ve been waiting for this episode, and it was SO worth it. Kudos to the voice actors, as always. The raw emotions in their voices? That hit so hard and portrayed the characters’ emotions so well. This was such a wild ride, a roller coaster of emotions, and so meaningful.
sandaime★★★★★VerifiedEP 20I knew this would wreck me so badly. I thought it would be a bit complex for me to understand, but as the story progressed, I kinda felt like I was Uraraka. Maybe it was too late to understand, but I still did. 🥹 I love how emotionally gripping the storytelling was here. It really hit right in the feels.
reirei★★★★★VerifiedEP 20Oh, this episode was such a complicated roller coaster of emotions. It was REALLY amazing, though. The way it was written was just so meaningful and beautiful. It didn’t have flashy fight scenes, and it wasn’t thrilling in that way. Instead, it portrayed a different kind of fight so meaningfully.
reirei★★★★★VerifiedEP 19This episode was as intense as ever. Action-packed scenes, high-stakes situations, and heartbreaking moments made the storytelling in this episode so gripping. I really loved this one. It kinda felt like something was finally resolved for once.
sandaime★★★★★VerifiedEP 19Why does it have to hurt like this? Lol. Man, this episode was such a roller coaster. A bit complicated, but still an emotional one that highlighted some major plot points in the story. I guess this chapter finally closed.
katana★★★★★VerifiedEP 19No, why did this make me cry? 🥹 It felt like some kind of closure. Some peace of mind, but at the same time, it was bittersweet. This was such a good episode.
katana★★★★★VerifiedEP 18Um, excuse me, but WAS THAT HIROSHI KAMIYA’S VOICE?! I had a mini heart attack for a moment there 😭 Hearing his voice just made this SO much better! This episode was really good. I almost forgot about Kirishima’s team, and then they suddenly gave us such a whopping entrance. Let’s gooo!
reirei★★★★★VerifiedEP 18Did I just hold my breath during this episode? This was way too intense—the fight scenes, the characters’ emotions, and the way they showed multiple perspectives to emphasize what the episode was trying to convey. That was absolute cinema!
sandaime★★★★★VerifiedEP 18This episode was so intense. The fight against All For One continued, and it was shown even more in this episode. This was seriously unpredictable, giving us adrenaline-rushing and anxiety-inducing fight scenes that were delivered so well. I’m nervous and also looking forward to what comes next!
reirei★★★★★VerifiedEP 17The shifting between scenes was smooth and didn’t really confuse the viewers. I thought this episode wouldn’t hype me up, then one scene suddenly provided some comic relief that made me giggle so hard. Anyway, everything just keeps getting better and better!
katana★★★★★VerifiedEP 17I thought this would just maintain the intense fight without much progression. But hey, I was so wrong! This was just as good as the previous episodes. A little slower at the start, but it was so worth it once things escalated in the second half!
sandaime★★★★★VerifiedEP 17This was so exciting! The way the adrenaline gradually spiked as the episode progressed was delivered really well. I really love the structuring of the plot points here. Also, that scene came out of nowhere and completely caught me off guard. 😭
reirei★★★★★VerifiedEP 16This was an absolute chef’s kiss! This arc is unskippable. Every episode is important, including this one. I love the way they delivered this episode. It was hectic but also emotional. The odds were still unbalanced, making everything unpredictable but thrilling enough to keep you looking forward to the outcome. Keep watching!
katana★★★★★VerifiedEP 16Unexpected characters showing up at unexpected times? Dang, that was such a good move! I love how every arc is connecting now. This is such a well-written anime with amazing world-building. This episode really gave that perspective. Love this one! 🥹
sandaime★★★★★VerifiedEP 16This episode had such different vibes to it. The battle was becoming so hectic, and then they suddenly served us something sweet, lol. The focus of this episode felt refreshing, giving some unexpected characters a chance to shine.
