After all the time spent establishing the story, the conclusion really satisfied me. Although the ending part felt a bit brief to me, leaving me wanting more, and I was also rooting for the other pair, well, this episode still managed to completely resolve the long awaited romance. Aside from that, the low quality of the animation was totally redeemed by how wonderful the actual story is. The way Tanaka sensei described how she actually felt romantically really hits hard. It really mirrored a real life perspective. Plus, the opening and ending songs really kept them stuck in my head after listening to it over and over again.

The final episode is good. Tanaka-sensei and Murai first meeting is very cute. Also, how he never gives up for Tanaka-sensei shows his great character development. The story is fun and it would be even better if this series gets a proper animation.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the twelfth and final episode, this arrives directly after Episode 11's escalation of tension and misunderstanding between Murai and Tanaka, pivoting from conflict to introspection. Instead of a frantic resolution, the finale serves as an emotional capstone, using backstory and reflection to recontextualize the relationship dynamics built across the entire season. It's a deliberate choice to close on depth rather than spectacle, giving the series' central romance its fullest emotional payoff.
