Episode 1

Sarushima being so annoying at the start made the ending feel like such a weird turn for them
fujin_fighter_37's avatar
fujin_fighter_37
The way the alcohol just erased their memories but left that physical feeling behind was actually kind of a cool hook
benimaru_blaze_152's avatar
benimaru_blaze_152
I actually got a kick out of how much they were yelling at each other in the bar because it made the hotel reveal way funnier
kamaitachi_killer_60's avatar
kamaitachi_killer_60
Inugami looks so stressed at work and then seeing her face at the hotel was a huge change in pace
yandere1001's avatar
yandere1001
I kept laughing at how they both tried to act normal while leaving that hotel even though they were clearly dying inside
elrena's avatar
elrena
my face was red watching inugami realize she actually liked being with her worst enemy and now she has to see him at the office tomorrow
liltott_laser's avatar
liltott_laser
the contrast between their office personas and what happened behind closed doors was handled well for a first episode
kensuke_aida's avatar
kensuke_aida
The animation for the bar scene was actually decent, and it really sold the idea that they were just way too drunk to make any good decisions that night.
ashiaraiyashiki's avatar
ashiaraiyashiki
that scene at the bar really set the stage for how much they normally cannot stand each other and it makes the ending so much more awkward
demyx's avatar
demyx
you can tell they are both internally screaming while trying to act like nothing happened after they woke up
sakurabloom's avatar
sakurabloom
it is wild how they just spent the whole night trashing each other and then ended up together like that
sanji_savant's avatar
sanji_savant
the way they both looked so confused in the morning when the reality of what they did finally hit them was pretty funny
lance_328's avatar
lance_328
the morning after scene felt so authentic because you could see the exact moment the panic set in for both of them. I was really focused on how Inugami struggled to process that her body felt great even though she supposedly hates Sarushima, which makes the whole workplace dynamic way more complicated now that they have to pretend to be normal colleagues.
rei_ayanami's avatar
rei_ayanami
seeing sarushima and inugami go from screaming at the bar to being stuck in that hotel room was such a trip
guimamada's avatar
guimamada
I felt so awkward watching them wake up and realize they actually enjoyed it despite hating each other at work because that tension was so thick
sakura_strength's avatar
sakura_strength
The tension at the bar was palpable, and the transition to the morning after really sold the chaotic energy between those two colleagues
baniacz's avatar
baniacz
Sarushima acting all tough at work then being a total mess in that hotel bed with his rival was exactly the goal here

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the series opener, this episode carries the full weight of establishing the central relationship dynamic—the distance, the longing, and the first steps toward reconnection. It lays the emotional and narrative foundation that subsequent episodes will build upon as intimacy deepens. Without confirmed episode count data, this premiere functions as both introduction and tone-setter for the arc's exploration of rekindled desire.
