Synopsis

Minami joins her High School baseball team as a team manager after finding out that her best friend Yuuki is in the hospital and can't be a team manager any more. In order to try to fill in for Yuuki and to help out the team the best she can, she goes out to find a book on how to manage a baseball team. Unfortunately, she accidentally buys Peter Drucker's book called "Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices" which is actually about how to properly manage a business. Because she couldn't return the book, she decides to read it anyway and to try to apply the business management concepts to the baseball team so that way they can go on and win the Nationals.

So far, now that we've finally reached the end, this anime is actually quite interesting. But honestly, in episodes 9 and 10, the pacing somehow feels way too rushed, like something is missing. Even though the tension rises in these final episodes, it just doesn't fully stick with you or leave a lasting impression. As a conclusion, I’d say it’s okay—just okay, but definitely not the best. To be fair, this anime isn't a pure sports genre anyway, and it actually does a pretty good job. If you love seeing how management, strategies, and systems work, you'll probably enjoy it. It's just such a shame about the pacing, because it feels rushed, the main characters and a few other elements didn't get enough screen time to be fully explored. But overall, it's still mid—not bad at all.
