If there is something that keeps on giving in this show, it's the animation. That single move the main protagonist did to save his friends warrants more than just a passing glance from the audience. We also get to meet the "rival" who would surely spice up the story from now on.

This episode reminds me of a scene in Harry Potter, but with a twist: our MC just kicks his feet so fast that he's able to fly and win easily in his first tournament at the Academy.

there is not a doubt in my mind that this episode has no dull moments to anyone who watched it.
great animation.
comedy gold.
soundtracks not bad either.
it's a great anime so far, so amusing to see Mash solve his problem by pure leg muscles.

This episode is a must-watch. Too funny to skip it 🤣. It did get a little bit serious in the fighting scene, but the comedy is still there. Mash with his absurd strength is the real magic here lol 🤣🤣.

This episode feature the equivalet of a Quidditch game in the Harry Potter novels if you know. The anime also introduces Lance Crown, a semmingly no-nonsense character contrasted with his obsessibe love for his sister.

Mashle was funny 🤣 when he doesn't have magic' yet he was able to fly by kicking the air and was able to score 999 points . And even with the Lance bettle of with gravity to get magic bottle which was thrown from clif with gravity added to it with only physical strength 😈🤫.

Hilarious!!! Watching Mash in the duel, totally underestimated, using his ridiculous tricks had me laughing. Amid the chaos, you still root for him. He’s awkward and weird, but proves that determination can outshine natural talent.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 3's bully confrontation, Episode 4 marks Mash's transition from outsider to active participant in Easton Magic Academy's competitive ecosystem — a crucial escalation one-third into the season. The introduction of Lance Crown as a formidable rival establishes the caliber of opponents Mash will face going forward, seeding character relationships and rivalries that will drive the season's middle stretch. This episode essentially closes the 'settling in' phase and opens the door to higher-stakes challenges ahead.
