Maebashi Witches Episode 1: What's Wrong with the Status Quo?!

I went for this anime because it's looked really pretty and I thought, 'Is this going to be my new addition to my beloved idol anime?'

The answer was hell yeah!!

Yuina, your typical main character BUT she's so charming you'd forget she's 'typical' mc. I won't say she's airheaded but well, she vibes with things, and logical people probably would find her troublesome.

Anyway, the freaking animation is PEAK. High-quality angles, pretty designs, and even their movements looked smooth, especially when dancing! Then I remembered they're Bandai Namco; Sunrise, and was like 'Yeah, that checks out' cause it definitely precedes the improvements they've had ever since Love Live School Idol Project and onwards.

Well, it's very idol-y with all that witch and magic thing. I really like the premise and find it interesting. And in this ep, we're given their very first ride with magic!

This episode sets the stage for the series, so it's definitely a MUST-watch!

Oh yeah, that frog sure talks a lot. .... I weirdly found myself happy about it XD

This episode was really entertaining because its main trope is for the main cast to help other characters overcome their personal struggles. I absolutely love the art style of this anime. The characters have such adorable designs, I especially love the way their eyes are shaded, it makes their appearance look more lively.
