Reg losing memories every time he fires the cannon is devastating. Nanachi testing the curse on that poor creature was hard to watch. Riko seeing Mitty in her fever dream... the horror of what happened to them is slowly coming together.

Just by Nanachi offering her perspective on how the Curse works, you can see the depth of her character, letting us know that she knows many things we and Reg don't know yet. No issues with the pacing as usual, and it feels like the animation quality has even gone better. That ending feels like a gut-punch compared to everything that has happened, and I'm curious what is behind that request.

Final episode goes crazy—the descent continues and everything feels bigger now. Payoff hits and curiosity stays strong. No real downside, just continue the journey. 🔥

The cloth scene explaining the Curse?? Nanachi teaching with a piece of fabric and I've never understood horror so clearly. And then that final request no spoilers but I sat there for a full minute after. Episode 13 cannot come fast enough. This show is something else.

The piano soundtrack at the start was amazing! This was among the more creepy episodes. The intense flashback at the end had the setting feeling dark and foreboding once more makes my heart dropped a bit during their conversation.

The scene with the bugs swarming around Mitty while Nanachi carried her was such a chilling parallel to the insects around Riko when Reg was trying to sever her arm. It makes perfect sense that Nanachi felt compelled to step in and help Reg. T_T
