What a satisfying finale 😁😁 Everything that has been building throughout the OVA comes together in a way that feels emotional without completely overshadowing the action. Adeu's journey reaches a meaningful conclusion, and several relationships gain even more depth by the end. I also like that the ending focuses on the characters just as much as the final battle itself. It's not a perfect ending, but it definitely leaves a lasting impression and wraps up this chapter nicely. Solid 7/10 ⭐

Honestly... this episode can be a little frustrating 🙃 but I think that's intentional hahaha.. Adeu's struggle feels very human, especially considering everything that's happened before this point. Instead of becoming an unstoppable hero overnight, he has to deal with emotions that get in his own way. I appreciate that the story allows its protagonist to feel vulnerable. It creates plenty of tension and makes me curious about how everything will finally be resolved.

This episode feels like the point where the story really starts opening up. Instead of focusing on a single event, several plotlines begin moving at the same time, making the world feel much more alive than before. I also like how the journey starts carrying a little more weight, both for the heroes and the challenges waiting ahead. The pace picks up naturally, and by the end I was genuinely curious about where everything was heading next. A strong transition into the second half of the OVA.

This episode finally puts Adeu's beliefs to the test, and honestly I found that much more interesting than another ordinary fight. Seeing different ideas about justice and strength collide adds a layer that the earlier episodes only hinted at. It doesn't try to give an easy answer either, which I appreciate. The pacing slows down for these conversations, but they make Adeu feel like a much more believable protagonist instead of simply being the typical heroic knight.

This first episode wastes no time introducing Adeu and the complicated relationship he has with Giltz. I actually like how serious the atmosphere feels right from the beginning, even if the pacing is a little fast. It doesn't explain everything immediately, but instead leaves enough mystery to keep me curious. The fantasy world also feels much darker than I expected. Definitely a solid opening that made me want to see where Adeu's journey would lead next!!
