King of Braves GaoGaiGar Final Grand Glorious Gathering

So that's it for the ending. The conclusion was very good and really hits in terms of emotional impact, but I really enjoyed the whole ride for what it is. The ending very much reminds me of Gunbuster and Getter Robo Armageddon's ending but more so the latter, as it's a signifier of leaving the future to the next generation as the previous generation guides them to something better. If I were to watch this when I was younger, the ending would've crushed me with how bittersweet it was and that there's a longing feeling to what I would want to happen for the 3G team, but now as I'm watching this at an older age, I can really appreciate it more. That said, I know that there's a sequel to Final GGG that was somewhat recent so eventually I might find a reason to continue forward for this series. That said, this show cements it as one of my favorite mecha titles of all time and I'm so glad to have experienced it.

There's really not much to say when it comes to this episode as it pretty much tries to build up the next final episode, but for the most part, it's still very hype and I feel like it has one of the best mecha fights out there that unfortunately tends to get ignored a lot of times since GaoGaiGar itself is not a mainstream popular show. Even still, most mecha fans recognize the series for what it is and celebrate it as one of the peak title from the Braves series outside of maybe Might Gaine or Dagwon. The fights can be overwhelming for some who just wants to rush things or to look deeper into the story, but the fights ARE a part of the storytelling and showcases the dire situation that 3G has to deal with when it comes to how absurdly powerful the enemies they're dealing with. Overall, great episode and I'm heading towards the finale.

Still another great episode for me personally, and I feel like it just keeps getting better as I said from previous episodes. Not much to say when it comes to the plot but this is pretty much the final battle so it pretty much is put to the side for the most part. That said, my only gripes for this episode are the newly integrated scenes which somehow is a teensy bit drop of quality as they're pretty much using digital animation now in comparison to their old analog cel animation, and you can definitely see the difference which is like night and day in my opinion. That said, it pretty much is a miniscule issue in the grand scheme of things and I still recommend to watch this entire season AFTER you've watched the first season along with Betterman for more context.

This episode is pretty much where the grand finale starts, and you get to see the main super robot of the show. Something that I've been waiting for since I was aware of it years ago, but never really watched the whole season until now. Lots of really good action all around, and you get to see so much of the stakes and how dire everything is especially with all the stuff leading up to the final battle. I feel like almost all of the plot threads have been kind of resolved now as we are about to enter the grand final battle of the series. What's about to come next? Who knows to be honest, but I'm all for it and I'm seated for the next thing.

So far, it just gets better and better from here on out, and the show pretty much delivers if you know what you're getting from it or at least know the context behind the entire plot. Don't be fooled by the low ratings, as GaoGaiGar is still one of the best mecha titles out there and this season shows you why that's the case. That said, the stakes are getting higher, and higher along with newer answers popping in here and there for the multiple questions that the show has given before. It saddens me that this is the last adaptation of the GaoGaiGar franchise and I would somewhat hope that its sequel will eventually get an anime adaptation in the future. Still a recommended watch and nothing would change my mind about it.

There's really not much to say about this episode besides the fact that it did pick up from the previous episode's storyline, but it made me kind of realize that I feel that Guy Shishioh is one of the best things about GGG as his presence does make the episodes really good. This is more so a Mikoto centered episode overall, but the return of several characters made me like it. Though we are pretty much in the middle point of the show to where it'll get crazier from here and it also somewhat gives an answer to one of the plotpoints that I was thinking about in previous episodes. Overall, not the best episode in my opinion, but it's more so the fact that this is where the middle point of the show is starting or has started already, and I am sure that it'll get crazier, and crazier later on.

I'm still very consistent with how I feel about this season of GaoGaiGar and it pretty much kind of cements the entire series as one of my favorite mecha series of all time, though mostly just referring to this one outside of the other Braves titles which I will eventually touch on watching. Other than that, this was a great episode and it made me realize that they're really not leaving any dead time or drag on certain events when it comes to efficiently telling the story. You get a complete package without having to deal with filler at all. Compared to the previous episode, this one kind of shows itself as some chill and relaxed episode somewhere in between, but it then hits you with a realization that the story is ramping up to something deeper as the wheel gradually keeps turning. I might have to revisit and watch the first season again to appreciate this even more.

Yet again, another great episode especially with the plot twist. Something that I legit enjoy from this show is that the momentum just keeps on going stronger and it feels like it hasn't hit its breakpoint just yet, even with this episode which was more so exposition and lore dumps. This episode is a reminder that you should watch Betterman and the previous season first before even touching this season at all, as it ties a lot of connecting plot threads from the previous seasons. Nothing that I can really say about this episode besides it being consistently good especially for me at least. Still recommending this show.

I feel like I'm the only big fan watching and reviewing the show right now but I am still very consistent with my take on this season as a whole. In a spectacle sense, this show has that down, but this season is very heavy on its lore and will require a lot of context, which is why I will always recommend watching the first season and Betterman to completely understand what's going on in the story as a whole as it gets deeper. With that out of the way, it's crazy how it just keeps delivering with the story progression as more and more questions are being added in regarding to what is currently happening with the 3G crew and the truth behind Mamoru's appearance. Now they are about to venture off somewhere outside their domain and you'll eventually realize how important watching the previous content is as this season will eventually give an ultimatum.

What can I really say besides that this episode is nothing short of a spectacle. First part of the episode is pretty much just giving heads up on what happened after the first season, and that is something really important to keep in mind that you NEED to watch the first episode and Betterman to get a good grasp of the story and how deeper it gets as there's much more behind the scenes and a lot of context to learn from. That said, this season really is taking itself in a darker and more grim turn with its story compared to its previous more lighthearted aspect of the show and I'm kinda all for it just to add more urgency to the current situation. Overall, still have the same opinion that I did before, in that it's a must watch.

What can I say besides the fact that the show keeps delivering and adding more intrigue to the story. You can really feel the difference between older cel animation to new anime just by how atmospheric the show is along with the highly anticipated action scenes having that visceral and heavy feeling to them which adds up to the vibe of the environment. Nothing too impactful happening on this episode as of now as it's mostly just a kick starter to the story, and there are plenty of exposition to kind of remind some of the previous season viewers especially on what happened and what's going on. Very good episode so far.

It's getting cringey for me now. But the fight is intense and good. The ending is emotional and fulfilling. I didn't expect that to end that way.

The battle scenes are way too stretched at this point for my liking. They try to cover too much of the fight and battle scene. It's better if they focus on one fight scene, not to show everything. But the battle scene is good and hype.

The continuation of the battle is good. There are still unexpected plot twists in the story. King D-Der is cool, but the effects are too colorful in my opinion. Even Pia Decem Peak is cool. The downside was that the whole action scene in different scenes is a bit chaotic. Showing different scenes was too much.
