I have to admit, this episode had a pretty big leap in writing. Nomoto finally addresses his biggest flaw, and I'm glad his passivity in the face of SA is considered part of moments where he chose not to intervene. I don't like it when the protagonists suddenly get a morale boost and everyone around them is taken aback. But in this episode, not everything is as it seems. There are some pretty good twists, and it gives me some optimism for the following episodes. Now, there are still plot holes, but they're less bothersome than before.
