SA the anime. The fights are good. For a moment I was worried that the first one would be short and that we'd jump into scenes without action, but fortunately almost the entire episode is fights. Nomoto continues to bother me; they try to sell him as the inexperienced rookie who, because of his kind heart, does things right... but here he's more of a nuisance than anything else. There are anime where this trope can be excused, but here the flaws are twice as noticeable. Besides, he was already warned that this was a fight to the death. What's so surprising for him when he realizes the fighters are going to die? If you're going to write an action story, do it right.
