I went into this thinking it was another cute idol project but the shift into exploitation is immediate and brutal, especially when Ibuki gets drugged. The character designs are so detailed that you can see the despair on her face and Alisa appearing at the end with that sadistic grin makes it clear that things are only going to get darker.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the title but the way they used the color red throughout the whole episode was actually clever. My favorite part had to be when the main character finally snapped because you could see the change in his eyes right before the screen went dark. It feels like a solid start since the ending scene with the blood on the snow was so striking

I really did not expect the protagonist to just lose his arm in the first ten minutes and seeing him try to crawl away while that thing laughed at him was so uncomfortable to watch but I could not look away because the animation on the blood spray was actually beautiful in a twisted way and I am totally hooked on Shinn now
