Kusunoki's Garden of Gods Episode 4: Off to the Other World to Exorcise the Evil Spirit

This episode is just okay. For one, I really like the cozy atmosphere. Seeing everyone just chill and eat most of the time is very much to my liking. Though, the action and adventure aren't really that great, to be honest. There's just no depth to them, and they feel like they're only there to make the story longer.

This episode really dove into dark, evil spirit world and I like the animation- it was dark, kind of creepy and scary! The way Yamagami showed his ultimate power to Harima was spine chilling 🥶. The fighting(exorcism) scenes were intense and those minions really did a good impact on the story. More to go!!

Successfully balances supernatural horror with the series’ comforting slice-of-life atmosphere. The cursed doll dimension added real tension for the first time, while Minato’s growing mastery of wind magic made the action scenes more engaging. The sacred camphor leaf payoff connected beautifully to earlier episodes, and Ho’ou’s reveal as the final Heavenly Beast was both adorable and satisfying. Combined with strong atmosphere, emotional stakes, and lovable god interactions, this became the anime’s most exciting episode yet.

The show takes a darker turn this episode and pulls it off really well. The tension inside the extra dimension is genuinely gripping. Minato improvising with whatever he has on him is so endearing. That ending reveal genuinely made me gasp. Excellent episode.

It's interesting how the world-building is steadily opening up with this episode. It feels like we're collecting pokemon atp bc of the little guy at the last scene lmao

I did not expect a whole-ass fight to break out like that but it was surprisingly awesome. Yamagami for the clutch! The interactions between the gods are so wholesome too
