We meet Nobara in this episode, a new character with her own story and mystery too,. I am curious, about her story as we get a sneak peak as to why she left the country side. There still a lot of talking in tis episode, and no action yet. We see how strong Itadori is and Nobara's cursed energy. It's safe to say that this season is a slow burn we are 3 episodes in but nothing exciting yet for me.

First glance at Kugisaki's power and abilities is always fun to watch, and also a glimpse of Yuji's and Kugisaki's teamwork and synergy is really smooth.

The pacing changes gears here, moving away from the heavy info-dumps of the premiere and throwing us straight into the supernatural grind. The tone strikes this perfect balance between creepy urban legend vibes and laugh-out-loud banter.

Beautiful introduction to a fan favourite character in Nobara Kugisaki, and the plot immediately throws our characters into more action within the Jujutsu world.

Nobara is the missing piece of the puzzle we didn't know we needed. Seeing the main trio finally link up gives off major chaotic energy, and her "test" in the abandoned building was such a slick way to show she isn't just a token girl—she’s a powerhouse.

Nobara walks in and immediately has more confidence than everyone in the room combined. Her whole vibe of 'I don't need your validation, I'm just built different' is so refreshing. The straw doll technique in action is genuinely creative. Love her already. Worth it.

The first-year trio is finally complete! Nobara’s energy is a total W. Her outlandish, aggressive behavior is such a sharp contrast to her kawaii face. It’s a massive subversion of the typical "heroine" trope. The field test in the city was a great pacing flex. Peak vibes.

Great action scenes and new application of visuals throughout the episode that kept me on my seat from start to finish with also a great episodic character introduction mixed in.

This ep is a total hook and the dark energy is immaculate. We finally get the world-building and character depth needed to understand Yuji’s insane physical gifts and his grandpa’s impact.

Nobara is a literal queen! She walked in, looked at the boys, and decided she was the main character—her confidence is highkey infectious. That "strong no-nonsense" energy is exactly what the trio needed to balance out Yuji’s sunshine and Megumi’s emo vibes.

The vibes shift the second Nobara pulls up. Her hammer and nails technique is straight fire and brings that sassy energy the squad needed. MAPPA really cooked with the animation here, making every hit look crispy. That lore drop was lowkey deep but left me wanting more.

This episode drops more JJK lore cut with good action and I am here for that kind of exposition. There is also the addition of possibly my favorite character Nobara! I am a sucker for strong no-nonsense women! It leaves you clicking "next episode" immediately!

Nobara pulling out the hammer and nails? Girl said “let’s goooo” and I was living for it 😂. Animation on her hits was crispy, super satisfying. Energy confident and sassy queen vibes. She ate that intro, no crumbs.

Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro meet the third first-year student, Nobara Kugisaki. Gojo pair Yuji and Nobara into a field training to smash curses spirit in abandoned building.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episodes 1 and 2 established Yuji's devastating introduction to cursed energy and Megumi's role as his reluctant guide into Jujutsu High — Episode 3 completes the foundational trio by bringing Nobara into the fold and transitioning from solo character introductions to team-based storytelling. This is the last piece of early-season setup before the show escalates its mission stakes and begins testing these bonds under real pressure. With 24 episodes in the season, this marks the end of the on-ramp and the beginning of the ride.
