The power scaling is definitely feeling a bit all over the place right now. It is wild how they struggle with things that should be simple, yet pull off insane feats in the next breath. As for Dio, where the heck did all that evilness come from...

That one doomed event is a total gut punch for both us and JoJo. But the tragedy fuels a legendary power-up, and the animation goes absolutely feral. This episode takes classic hero's journey tropes and executes them to PERFECTION. The emotions and energy hit all the right notes!

First half is peak, [SPOILER] Zeppeli's sacrifice, Jonathan's power up, Tarkus getting melted. Second half drags with random ass introductions. The emotional weight lands but the pacing's messy. Still solid setup for the Dio showdown.
