Aku sampe de javu sama salah satu dialog di episode ini. Oji-kun, tolong menyingkir dulu bisa nggak? Kapalku lagi melaju kencang, nih. Sumpah lega banget sama dua episode terakhir ini. Bisa nggak selesai di sini aja?

The development and pacing of the main relationship strike me as excellent. Nevertheless, it is inevitable to feel a certain sympathy for the protagonist's second suitor, whose role ends up being somewhat tragic.

Kohaku seems really happy after all. It’s already episode 8, and they’re doing really well. I wonder if it’s going to stay that way for the last few episodes or what’s going to happen to spice things up. Everything seems so peaceful between them—probably the honeymoon phase? I’m kind of expecting something bad to happen. Noooo, why are you making Oji suffer? Just let him be happy with someone else; I don’t think he even has a chance.

Oh this one is sweet. We get some moments between Yoi and Kohaku, which is nice. But on the not-so-nice side we get to see Oji too (Which is bad, because I always have a bias to the second lead, esepecially when they're nicer than the main lead) I like that at the end, we get a hook for the next episode, which is always fun to look forward to, even though I'm not looking forward to what Oji and Yoi was talking about.

Although Yoi is now officially dating Kohaku, she is still unfamiliar with the whole situation. During the summer holidays, Kohaku wants to take Yoi to Kobe. It will be a trip for six, as their respective friends are also coming along. And Takuto makes his move!

Love the earring scene! Can't wait for Ichimura's reaction when he sees Yoi wearing them. Peak romance 100%

I like how their romance isn't rushed. And it showcases initial problems and insecurities when starting a relationship that's unexpected for the first time.

I can feel Yoi on a whole different level when I just started dating someone for the first time LOL. It can be really overwhelming at times and you mostly don't know how to react. Yoi is me during teenage years

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned at the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode season, this episode serves as the essential emotional decompression after the pivotal summer festival outing in Episode 7, letting the consequences of that step forward settle into both characters. It strips away the school setting and social dynamics to isolate the evolving Yoi-Kohaku dynamic in its most vulnerable form. The quiet intimacy established here directly lays the groundwork for even greater physical and emotional closeness in the episodes ahead.
