Rumi seems totally oblivious to what is happening right under her nose and it makes the scenes with Tomoko and their dad feel even more wrong

Watching the father fight his own head before finally snapping and going after Tomoko was the part that stuck with me and that tension in the house is suffocating

I forgot how much darker these older ones were compared to the stuff coming out now. Seeing the father struggle with his urges before eventually giving in to Tomoko was genuinely unsettling to watch. The art style has that distinct early 2000s grit that you just do not see anymore and it makes the taboo elements feel much more serious.

The animation style definitely shows its age but that gritty look actually makes the whole forbidden family dynamic feel way more uncomfortable and heavy

My skin crawled when the dad started looking at Tomoko like that after being gone for so long and it feels so gross seeing him try to justify it while pretending to be a normal parent

Rumi being in the middle of all this makes the situation even more awkward and the house feels like a ticking time bomb

The pacing in this first episode moves really fast and they do not waste any time getting into the core conflict of the season

The way the father tries to fight those urges while being around his daughters is crazy, and you can tell things are going to get messy fast.

I remember the first season being pretty wild, but this sequel really doubles down on the messed up family dynamic right away. Seeing the father return and immediately lose his mind over Tomoko is such a massive shift from what I expected, and Takedo trying to manage the situation just adds this extra layer of chaos to the whole household environment.

This show really leans into the forbidden stuff early on and it makes the atmosphere feel heavy right from the first scene

The animation quality really took a step up for this second season and the character designs are much sharper than before

I was not ready for the dad to be this creepy right out of the gate and the way he looks at Tomoko is genuinely unsettling

Tomoko looks so much better now that she is older and you can see why the dad is struggling so hard to stay normal around her

I actually forgot how much drama was in this series and the dad coming back just makes everything feel way more tense than the first season

Takedo being there to keep things from falling apart is basically the only reason this family functions and he has his work cut out for him now

The way the father was shaking when he finally saw Tomoko grown up was a lot and it sets a really dark tone for this return

I remember watching the first season, but this sequel feels way more intense because the dad is actually trying to resist his impulses at first, which makes it darker. Seeing him struggle while Takedo is just standing right there trying to keep things normal was really uncomfortable to watch. My favorite part was the lighting in the hallway when Tomoko walked past him

You can tell Takedo knows something is up with his dad because of that one look he gave him during dinner and it made the whole house feel dangerous

Tomoko looked so confused when her dad started acting weird right after he walked through the door and the tension in that living room was actually suffocating

I cannot believe how awkward that kitchen scene felt when the dad just stared at Tomoko and the music got all heavy while he tried to look away from her

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the first of only two episodes, this installment carries the full burden of setup — introducing or reintroducing the core characters, establishing the household dynamic, and planting the emotional and erotic conflict that Episode 2 will resolve. There is no prior episode in this series to draw from, making this the essential entry point. Everything here is groundwork, and Episode 2 functions as the direct continuation and conclusion of whatever threads are opened here.
