El ambiente se pone tenso, deben decidir como equipo que deben hacer. Un capítulo interesante que muestra que un cazador debe no solo aprender a confiar en si mismo si no también en otros.

Alright. The Hunter Exam is back. This time it’s a grouping exam. I just hated Tonpa. Felt angry for a reason. And based on this episode, I think it will take several episodes to finish since it involves time. Enjoyable when they arrive at the next Hunter Exam place.

Tension is back, and it’s hitting hard. The "majority vote" dilemma is a total classic trope, but executed so well here. It forces them to question their morals under pressure. You absolutely cannot miss this; it’s the definitive test of the group’s character.

This episode feels like it’s setting up peak action for what’s next. A solid buildup that keeps things interesting and makes you want to continue watching as the story progresses.

The Third Phase begins! This episode sets things up nicely, as more trials await the characters. It builds anticipation for what’s coming next. Also, Tonpa is really annoying—I’m starting to understand Leorio more.

Honestly, I’d probably react the same way as Leorio. Tonpa is the kind of person you wouldn’t want to be stuck with in this situation, lol. This episode feels like a buildup to more intense moments in the next one.

Tonpa is frustrating in the way he’s clearly meant to be, yet there’s something oddly compelling about his commitment to sabotage. The episode leans into psychological tension, making manipulation feel just as dangerous as physical threats. Annoying—but undeniably engaging.

In this third phase out of all the participants, why was it Tonpa who ended up with Gon and the others? WHYYY?, and like leorio tonpa also getting in to my nerve. hope they make tonpa pay for his action

The egg-hunting test is genius. Shows who pays attention versus who just runs in like a headless chicken. Nothing crazy happens, but it proves that watching and waiting beats going full speed every time.

That act was crazy good, pretending to be the real proctor. But i originally supported the first guy, he is indeed well dressed and looks the part in my opinion, too detailed to be fake.
this series keeps on making my day, its really good

The Trap Tower's gimmick really sold me as I like the thrill and excitement on how will they clear it. Adding the tournament aspect into it just elevates it to another level. Although Tonpa really got into my nerves for what he did, I'm just glad that his fight was over.

Tonpa finally gets called out lol the group has to make decisions together and not everyone is on the same page. fun ep with real stakes 🌟

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 8 marks the beginning of the Hunter Exam's third phase at Trick Tower, transitioning from the lighter character-building moments between Gon, Killua, and Chairman Netero aboard the airship in the previous episode. This phase introduces the exam's first real test of group strategy and trust, escalating the stakes beyond individual survival and setting a precedent for the increasingly complex challenges ahead. It's early in the 148-episode run, but this is a pivotal shift in tone that signals what kind of series Hunter x Hunter truly aims to be.
