The episode spent almost 10 minutes just to open the door. Then Gon suddenly can helps despite a broken arm. Totally a main character syndrome and not creative. Another bodyguard shows up, but Gon’s usual recklessness solves it. Somehow I still didn’t think it was that bad episode to watch since not too cringe especially about friendship (for now ahaha)

This feels like a tense standoff in a Western. The dialogue is sharp, and the sense of danger is constant. It’s a great example of how this show makes even simple conversations feel like life-or-death. Watch it for the character moments.

The dynamics between Leorio, Kurapika, and Gon were delivered so well. They complement each other perfectly, and the Zoldyck Family storyline is getting even more intriguing.

I love how Kurapika and Leorio treat Gon. They understand him so well already. Their friendship feels genuine and strong, which makes their moments even better.

I love the pacing of this episode and Gon’s stubbornness, lmao. He really barrels through everything when it comes to his friends. His determination is so admirable.

Episode 23. Its focus on persistence as gon and others are training hard just to open the massive gate and little by little its paying off. Also the vide is telling that there's a bigger challenge waiting for them
This show their perseverance, team effort and patience

Their effort finally pays off, and the moment feels earned. But instead of relief, there’s a quiet sense that something bigger is waiting ahead. The episode captures both determination and unease, reminding us that progress often comes with new complications.

The crew pushes forward through training and tests instead of just fighting. They gotta earn their way up while dealing with servants from a scary family. Solid mix of preparation and pure stubbornness.

It's about training for Gon and the rest, and a messy family stuff for Kilua.

The tension in this anime is crazy, I'm left always at the edge of my sit.
Gon for the first time trembled at the look of Hisoka. Hisoka really keeps on surprising me, i never expected for him to be this powerful, he reminds me of the power structure in Dragon ball z. interesting

mostly a setup ep as the group tries to navigate the Zoldyck estate through the servants. Canary is a nice surprise though, nothing less expected given the Zoldyck's skills. slow but tension building around what kind of family Killua really comes from

I enjoyed the training-arc aspect of this ep. It gave me a glimpse of the reason why Killua is strong and it also made way for the main characters to get strong as well. I also liked Canary's character. It's just really a shame that she didn't befriended Killua cuz of work.

The episode shifts from travel to resource acquisition. The team faces a limit that they must overcome. To progress further, the group relies on collective endurance and effort, demonstrating how aligned goals allow them to bypass a psychological barrier.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the group's arrival at the imposing Zoldyck estate gates, this episode shifts into a preparation phase where the focus narrows to Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio pushing their limits to reach Killua. It bridges the initial confrontation with the estate's defenses and the deeper dive into the Zoldyck family dynamics that follows, making it essential connective tissue in the post-Hunter Exam stretch of the series.
